I wish i knew more about clutches, Terry, but I don't. I learn from watching other RUclipsrs. I'm no Master Mechanic, and have never claimed to be. I see some vides ,where they mess with that adjusting nut in the middle of the Clutch hub and then mess with the cable. I'm sure you will figure it out. Good job on the video.

Anytime my shovels walk on me like that I start with resetting my clutch adjustment slack the cable brake the lock nut adjust the clutch rod the rod on top of the transmission should move a 1/4 inch back and forth when grabed adjust clutch cable grab the rod on top of transmission agion and should still move a 1/4 inch if not then your running around with a load on the throw out baring witch will burn it up there's a measurement in the book for the distance of how far the retaining ring needs to be away from the pressure plate if it still walks after that then I will disassemble the clutch look at the plates clean then reassemble plates might just be alittle gumed up from setting over the winter hard going into nurtrol is sometimes the nature of the beast I reach down and use my hand can never get it with my foot that's what I do with my shovelheads before riding season and mid summer daily riders
