From the highlights it looked like for the first two sets the Hungarian was in the zone and then the Italian got into the zone as his forehand suddenly starting hitting the marks almost every time.
@@ajollypanda4175 obviously djokovic is a far better player but I don't think anyone is as calm on court as Sinner, Darren Cahill who joined Sinner's coaching team actually told him he was too calm on court and needed to show more emotion
@@ajollypanda4175 I was talking keeping young lads in my mind. I agree joker definitely one. But not calm he definitely wants attention from crowd like what Roger and Rafa gets.
In the young guys it's probably Rune he has the technique, the power and also the Bad guys. Définitively the next gent pass a way and the the young are ready with : Alcaraz, Rune, Sinner, Korda, Felix
Two of the greatest forehands in the history of the sport. The fact that they were able to consistently generate insane pace off their forehands will always be a mystery to me
Another great game from this tournament! I'd actually never seen Fucsovics playing before, but, as per these highlights, he went toe-to-toe with Sinner and probably should have won the game. He and Sinner play quite similarly: very attacking players who hit the ball really hard and accurately, but who also have deadly backhand slices to slow the game down. Both of them must be a nightmare to play against. I'm not the most ardent tennis fan in the world (although, I do watch a fair amount), but it seems to me that the standard of men's tennis is ridiculously high currently; as Medvedev rightly pointed out a few days ago, people in the the top 30 can beat each other on a given day. I certainly would not like to bet on who this year's winner will be. Having said that, I still think Djokovic is the slight favourite if his injury isn't exacerbated. After all, he still has a purpose and aim: to be the most successful men's tennis player of all time. There aren't many bigger motivators than that!
This time i dont feel like praising sinner... if he hopes for winning further he should be using more slices. He did 3 in The match, won The point and didnt notice or abuse it at all. A bit of tennistic intelligence would do him pretty well. Nonetheless he won but at a higher price... by force only
I'm starting to get the impression that nowadays we will never have a long ranking number one like we had up through Djokovic, these new guys there's always a new great one but they burn away quickly there's always another one around the corner too much talent and at the same general level. The level may be too high to allow for a long reining number one like before.
Sinner won 12 games in a row 🔥😮
From the highlights it looked like for the first two sets the Hungarian was in the zone and then the Italian got into the zone as his forehand suddenly starting hitting the marks almost every time.
Sinner changes the direction of the shots REALLY well.
Sinner looks like a better moving Berdych. He has massive potential. Would love to see a Djokovic Sinner final.
Fucsovics has more muscles on his 1 quad than sinner's entire body 🤣
i was about to say that until i saw the close up. Sinners back is like a tank
@@jonathanotchengco9651 sinner was going to be a pro ski racer before he chose tennis so I'm guessing he's got some deceptively strong legs as well
And he cracks the forehand like no other. So it's all good. As long as he's fit to play 5 setters like Alcaraz!!
muscles don't make you win the game
@@jaimerk725 Sakkari can confirm
Sinner is extremely and mentally the toughest guy on the tour i believe . Extremely calm and collective.
You guys are so one tract minded…im not a djokovic fan and what you just said is a joke as long as djokovic is on tour

The only time I felt nerves getting to him was during us open against alcaraz.

Absolutely delightful to watch. Love.
"the Italian stallion"
"he's packing in a big way"
🤔
Looking at the ads around the court it should have been called 'Dictatorship Open'
Recover well for the next round. Forza 🦊
That's like a Gonzalez/Del Potro forehand at 5:04

@@Teddy_Gautier yep, they weren’t as good as peak Fed’s forehand but they were probably 2nd and 3rd best
@@initialize21 yeah for sure. Fed’s everything is goated to me, but I’m biased cause I’m a diehard Federer fan 😅 Still love Nole and Nadal tho
Great match very entertaining
Looks like Sinner ultimately woke up!😊

What a distruction
weirdest match point ever!
bizarre
one guy mishits and it floats in like a cripple, and the other guy...well Im not really sure what he did

don't know about the slices but so many of his hits just went to the center, so many chances to make Fucsovics move yet he just played it back at him
O pecador adora um cinco sets 😅
Janik ganará este AO, es el nuevo #1

SINNER NUMBER ONE!!!!
Jan the Fox!
female fan favorite is out
They are Zverev and Tsitsipas who female prefer
Fucsovics is the gay's favorite
@Nerd_Flanders good point lmao
