Brian Pillman may not have been as amazing as Scorpio high flying wise, but in his WCW days he put on great matches and could hang with the best. None the less the shit Scorpio could do was pheonominal.

After hearing that story from 2 cold scorpio the respect I already had for Steve Austin just got a little higher. Because he could've just accepted the circumstances he was given and not tell Scorpio man to man what was happening with the match but instead he came right up to him and told him what was up and also said that he had zero issues with putting him over clean. Most guys are not that cool with that and wouldn't have been so upfront. I got to give Steve Austin props for this.

Austin, like taker, is one of those guys who you hear almost nothing but respect for. Refreshing when a legend to the fans is viewed similarly by the other wrestlers

scorpio was so dope when he first showed up. he was over as hell doin stuff most people had not seen in wcw or wwf. wish he'd kept himself straight longer cause he was amazing. he was definitely more of a flyer than pillman. pillman was somewhat novel when he first got on the scene but by the early 90s flying cross body finishes really wasn't that electric. but pillman's psychology, rap and look were awesome. he just still sort of had that flyer gimmick even though he'd moved beyond it
strange that austin a heel was doing broadways with rick rude (another heel) but damn those must have been some awesome matches

Steve and Rude were doing broadways for the belt? How so? They were both heels at the time. i mean obviously it's not impossible, it just doesn't sound right.

Rude was never WCW World Champion. He was International Champion - a totally different title
