    As a Spurs supporter and fan (first game attended in 1979)… I can vividly remember watching this fantastic game on TV. The glory, glory years. Come on you Spurs!! ⚽️😁

    Paul Gascgoine was amazing, he was loved by the fans and the players. What a character and an out and out genius on the ball. I've seen him play live and I've never seen anything like him since in England. How he controlled the ball and waltzed passed players was just poetry in motion.

    Amazing from Gazza / 1st Goal incredible and 2nd Goal with those 2 flicks! I was still a bag of nerves even 2-0 & 3-1 ahead. Wish Spurs would have stayed with TV as he was Mr Tottenham.

    Was there at 12 years old with my dad and younger brother. My best football memory and was right behind Gazzas free kick!

  • @engineere2865
    @engineere2865 4 года назад +7

    Gazza's freekick rightly gets all the glory. But the two flicks in the build up to the second are world class. The first to allen is a pass and a feint all in one move. It throws his marker Davies? and gives him space to nonuctually flick the second pass to allen who's in acres of space. From late '88 to may '91 he was something this country had never seen. To be so fragile mentally but possess without doubt a genius talent is so tragically beautiful. He was my absolute hero as a kid and I'll always love him.

    Arsenal had Paul Davis and Alan Smith, spurs had gazza and lineker 🤣😂🤣

      @helicoptersrkool 4 года назад +10

      And guess who won the league that year???????? The team with Smith and Davis 😂. Did you enjoy watching Arsenal win this same cup a few days ago? You have to go all the way back to 1991 for your last FA cup win, and you've only won 2 leauge cups since then, none in 12 years 😂. You can't count on 2 hands how many trophies Arsenal have won since 1991 ,you'd need more fingers. You could chop off 7 fingers and still have more fingers than trophies won by tottenham since 1991 FA cup. 12 years and counting potato fc boy.....SShhhhhhhhhh🤫🤫🤫

    • @richardevans7035

      @@helicoptersrkool yes you've done well in FA cups but nothing else, as for Gazza he will still be talked about in another 20 years time unlike Smith and Davies who were forgotten about the day they retired

    • @helicoptersrkool
      @helicoptersrkool 4 года назад +10

      @@richardevans7035 and what else did Gazza win with tottenham? Nothing. He'll be remembered more for being an England player, not a tottenham player. Smith and Davies will have loads of Arsenal of winners medals to show their grand/great grand kids. Gazza only has an fa cup winners medal to show. The gulf in honors between Arsenal and spurs is huge. How many trophies have you seen spurs win in your lifetime?

    Tottenham's last FA cup 1991..........Since then, Arsenal have won it 8 times, the last a few days after this post. Spud fans have to be at least 35 minimum to have any memory of their last fa cup win. This is what happens when you're trophy starved, you have to go back 30 years for a cup victory and 60 years for a league title 😂😂🤫🤫. Arsenal only have to go back a few days to remember our last win and 6 seasons to remember our last 4 wins. That's more wins thans potato fc have had in over 30 years...😂😂
