It never occurred to me before watching you- when you get those big cymbals really moving, you gotta be losing a little on the rhythm hitting them. If they’re dropping down and away it LOOKS like it has to take you a few milliseconds longer to connect, and opposite, when they’re swinging up and close, I’d imagine you’re gonna be connecting early. Is this a problem or do you account for it?

I love his cymbals, when I played them they kind of reminded me of a cross between old Zildjian A's and vintage Paistes.

I think it is simply acceptable to be ahead or behind the beat as long as it still grooves.
