The most scenic spot to see Mt Fuji - Arakurayama Sengen Park

This is my personal favourite spot to view Mt Fuji, the Arakurayama Sengen Park in the city of Fujiyoshida. This video will show you the Sengen Shrine and the Chureito Pagoda located at the Arakurayama Sengen Park and directions on how to get there by bus and by train.

Hi thanks for watching the video. I didn't include fares because they will change over time but currently (April 2023) the fares are :-
Highway bus from Shinjuku 2277 Yen, Fujikyu Excursion Train Shinjuku to Shimoyoshida 4060 Yen.
JR Rail Pass holders Shinjuku to Otsuki inclusive, transfer Otsuki to Shimoyoshida 1180 or 1380 Yen (Local or Rapid train).
All fares one way only.
3-days Tokyo Wide Pass 10,180 Yen. I recommend the Tokyo Wide Pass as it pays for itself if you ride trains all 3 days around Greater Tokyo area.
Please check the resp train websites for the current fare.
The 7-days (all-Japan) JR Rail Pass currently sold at 26,690 Yen will increase in price to 50,000 Yen in Oct 2023.
