I am glad that motion minigames arent forced and you can play with regular controllers but I still wish for online play there was option to turn them on or off just like when playing offline. Because this way there will be even less minigames online. At least when playing with friends or creating your own room there should be option to turn motion controls on/off while playing with randoms should be turned off by default.
3:54 there's only one round, and finding the right keys seems much trickier than it seems, because it appears there's no tell of which key goes where, so all you can do is pick a random one and hope for the best, and likewise, the game gets progressively easier the less doors and keys are available, it's those kinda luck minigames like Bowser's Big Blast that can last forever, or be pretty short, depending on everyone's luck xd Mario's Minigame is Leaf Leap, followed by Bumper Balls, and ends up with Shy Guy Says, whoever scores the most wins Peach's Minigame starts as u racing while making sure not to drop any presents along the way, then it's a mind game where u gotta make sure to not choose the same tray as someone else, so u can take it and deliver it to Peach's table for points, and ends up with everyone having to put colored gems inside cannons to end the minigame with fireworks Bowser Jr.'s is a bunch of sequences where u gotta survive the attack of his minions, or perform tasks like pop balloons and catching a chicken, ending up with a final survival where Junior directly attacks everyone with his clown car, whoever got hit the least and suceeded in the other tasks wins And Wario's Minigame is a contest show where u gotta make sure to be first to answer correctly all the riddles shown on the screen
Hey Connor, Just wanted to let you know some more confirmed minigame names, the 4-player camera minigame is called camera-ready, the one where you run around a globe collecting flags is called space flag race. The 2 vs 2 one where you and your partner are connected by rope in the cavern area is called rocky rope race. The fishing duel minigame is called fast fishing. A lot of confirmed names for showdown minigames: Mario's Three-peat, Luigi Rescue Operation, Peach's Day Off, Daisy's Field Day, Wario's Buzzer Beater, Waluigi's Pinball Arcade, Yoshi's Mountain Race, DK's Konga Line and Jr's Jauntlet. As well as some koopathlon minigame names confirmed the monty mole one is noggin knock, the bread one is called Gold 'n Brown, the spike one is called Spike's Gambit and one of the bowser koopathlon minigames where he is chasing you is called Castle Hassle.
Well it looks like Birdo will be riding a yoshi in Yoshi's Mountain Race, I suppose the only way Yoshi will be in this mini-game is in the 1 player campaign mode, against imposter buddy yoshi, but what I want to know is if Yoshi will be riding another yoshi or running on his own. That would be cool and awesome to see I think is him having to do it on his own since it would kind of feel wrong for him to ride on his own well kind.
One type of minigame I don’t like are minigames that involve Mario and his so-called “friends” punching and/or kicking each other. That minigame concept really bothers me because I don’t like seeing Mario being a d**k to his so-called “friends” so I hope Jamboree doesn’t have any minigames that involve punching and/or kicking your opponents, but considering that every Mario Party game has at least one minigame like that for some reason, unfortunately I think Jamboree will not break that trend, and it really bothers me 😞
I feel like the minigames will be the weakest part of the game (which is strange because that's usually always the best part of Mario Parties, even the "bad" ones). The 1v3's look really good though Why'd they make Rosalina's minigame motion-based, it looks like the best ally minigame 😭
I think rosalinas minigame will be similiar to barreling along minigame from super mairo party. In barelling along you were using motion controls to turn and racing while trying to get speed bosts and this will probably be similiar but with snowboards.

Kinda wish there were more mini-games for the main Mario party mode. There isn't as much compared to superstars.
It’s on par with other Mario party games. Most have 60-70 for the main party mode
