@@amparoechenique9422 I’m a U.K. 5 in street shoe I’ve got the Drone CS HV and Drone 2.0 LV in 5. I think you can afford to go a half size down in the CS at max - they’re not as stiff but still stiffer than I was used to. Bang on my street shoe is perfect for me, after wearing in, I’d say!
My personal fave is Hazel's commentary on ego. I'm definitely guilty of seeking out problems that I already know suit my strengths. However, every pro had such detailed approach to small changes that can make a big difference. I think one quality that everyone shared was a willingness to never stop learning.
Your Kilter session with Alex Puccio changed the game for me! I was able to quickly send projects that felt impossible before, and her tips made me realize micro-beta is what I need to educate myself on the most. Your channel has been so crucial to my climbing development over the past 1.5 years. Wishing you all the best for 24 ❤
That’s so great to know! I’ve been projecting outside this week, and seeing the teeny tiny adjustments that can make such a HUGE difference is so interesting! Figuring out problems is definitely a process, and commitment and belief that you can go for a move is a key part ☺️
Your training videos are by far the best on the internet. I watch most of them over and over again. The main game changer for me were Be’s ideas. They are very technical yet intuitive, and motivational. Thank you very much for your service to the climbing community in the world.
This is such a great "best of 2023" video I can see me coming back to A LOT! Thanks for condensing all these coaching gems into one handy video, and to a great 2024!
I greatly benefited from the advice given by Louis, Alex and Hazel in particular. Thank you Hannah for sharing these with us all of last year, and cheers to an even better 2024 :)
All this brilliant advice in one place is great. I particularly like the advice on mindset as I'm often guilty of talking myself out of trying things that I think I can't do. Thanks, Hannah, for all your videos. I hope 2024 is even more successful for you.
I’ve been bouldering once at a very nearby gym and I absolutely loved it. Now I’m devouring content for the next time, and your channel is my favorite. I’m a lightweight, mid sized female with zero experience and I feel so ready to climb again after watching your vids, so thank you very kindly for producing this amazing channel.
This is a really nice video. I think my favourite tip is Louis and Hazel's ways of measuring success, they have definitely helped me in my own climbing
Really nice video. Was thinking recently about what keeps me coming back to your channel the most; and what I came up with was that I really appreciate how good a student you and Nathan are (Louis pointed to that too with a comment in the body positioning video). It's not just that you work with some absolutely fantastic coaches, but that you structure your subjects and ask the right questions of them to really get the most value out of the advice they give in a really accessible way to a general audience - while also getting the specific application for your own focus. You can really see how much you consider advice taken from each coach and how you apply it in your climbing over the course of several videos.
I commented on a video that you did with coach Be last year after I'd been for, like, 2 climbs and thought it was really nice that you took the time to give an encouraging reply when I'd barely started. A few months on and I can say I'm FAR further on in my climbing than I otherwise would be due to the exposure to the fantastic advice that these awesome coaches have so generously given on your channel - and their own. In particular the mindset coaching tips have been really useful to look at for myself (both in climbing and in wider life), but also in trying to help taking different approaches to tackle where my daughter gets really frustrated with things Thank you very much
This was probably the most impactful 20 min of climbing videos I've watched so far. I definitely see myself coming back to these tips, and love learning about them through the lens of you learning and applying them. It makes it way more relatable and easier to see how to use them in my sessions. Thanks!
Crazy how a lot of these tips are related to the “mental game” of climbing. Just goes to show you, don’t limit yourself, have fun and push yourself to grow ! Woooo
this kinda goes beyond climbing, but i just wanted to say that i really admire your way of taking advice, being open to new perspectives and internalising things you’ve learned. i often tend to want to do things my own way and i don’t like when other people tell me what to do (which is good in some ways, but often makes things way harder than they need to be). your videos are really inspiring 🤍🤍 it’s awesome to see your growth :)
Love all of these tips! For me it's been your videos with Coach Be that have been especially helpful in significantly improving my climbing. I know you'd mentioned previously doing an additional video series with her - I hope it happens!
I like these videos that I can reference in the future, knowing it has great tips on climbing. Thanks for providing a new video to add to my Climbing Tips playlist.👍🏽🤙🏽
Terrific video. Fantastic tips. Excellent editing. I love Emil and Nathan's video about trying hard, and goes along with Louis' and most climbers' mindset of the reason they are where they are is because they kept trying harder, and hard and harder stuff til they eventually learned the HOW with it.
This is amazing! Thanks for condensing all this down! Seen you make a lot of those videos, but this, pulls a lot of mental concepts in climbing so nicely together. If I had to pay to see this and was a little grumpy about paying; after watching it I wouldn't be 🤟
Great recap of the year Hannah! Really enjoyed coming back to climbing in ‘23 and have found your videos super helpful. Hopefully get on a few more blocs with you guys next time you’re down in Reading :)
thank you so much for the different videos on coaching/learning, for someone started climbing/bouldering last year I learned a bit each time along the way, looking forward to more videos in 2024 📈📈
The section on defining small steps as success has just made sense to me apply able in so many other places. I'm only a new climber so the ego problem doesn't occur yet. But being 60 years old there are plenty of other things I could apply this hack to to ease the stress of excessive targets.
I can't agree more about the mindset of climbing, little by little successing on something that looks super hard or threatening, it helps you learn about your possibilities and trusting yourself to do the things you want and find best way to do it ! Live changer. really nice video !
Great video! Its awesome to see your progress as well as getting advice from you and the coaches that you work with. I think that your videos are extremely relatable for those of us just trying to get better. Thanks !
I really liked your video with coach Louis as it was interesting to see the comparison of different grades in which people climb!! Thank you Hannah and Nathan as always 😊😃
Not to say anything bad about the others, I haven't met them. But I'm pretty sure one single in person class with Hazel did more for my climbing this year, possibly ever, than nearly anything else I've ever done.
thank you very much for all the great useful coaching videos and this recap. Such a great variety of wonderful tips! They have certainly helped me in my climbing progress! Keep up the good work!
Super useful compilation and how wonderful that you have all this content to bring together. Your channel is great reflection on you and Nathan. Come see us at Yonder again soon.
Congrats on 100k subs! These videos are such a welcome dose of positivity and growth mindset and have really upped my climbing in the past year. Plus everyone seems so nice and I just want to come climb and try hard with everyone on the channel! Thank you!
Idk... When I "try hard" I strain muscles. Literally every time I push myself to try that hard I leave the gym with multiple pulled muscles. This is with warmup off the wall, stretching, and warm up on the wall. I have progressed much faster and climbed harder routes not pushing that hard.
@@hannahmorrisbouldering Yes it's a shame really because it should be simple enough to solve and I won't be the only one turning off because it's the type of speech affliction that is grating.

Success for me is just showing up at the wall/gym. ESPECIALLY in these sub-zero temperatures...
