Great video Andreas, but I do have a question on the 1st hand Let's say you bet 30 on the turn because while villian could have a Q, we're confident he'll call any 9, straight draw (even gutshots), or any flush draw. Would you still value bet river for another half ish pot bet assuming the same river, or would you consider checking it back since you got your two streets of value after the turn? Always appreciate the content!
You can bet the river after betting the turn, but this means a stronger portion of their range will call the river. So it's more 'player' dependant than 'player type' dependant. Some possibilities: - Bet large on the turn, planning on checking back the river. - Bet 50% on both turn and river. Fish/stations still interpret this as a bluff attempt when obvious draws miss. + VS unknown players this is a breakeven play when he happens to have the Q. - Take the line shown in the video.
Wow, this was really useful. Put it to use last night thin-betting overcards against some very loose chasers, something I don't usually do. But watching the pattern, it was just like you described. check call check call check fold. I did get impaled by one player who reversed on the river and led out, but I still came out with a very tidy profit for the night.
Great analysis, thank you! A bit off-topic, but I wanted to ask: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
Personally I would not bet 1010 on the flop in the first example, but when you bet and they check turn and river you have a mandatory value bet on the river and any good player would do that. Ps: thanks for your book on cbet flop. As I already said it was very very good. Better than a lot of stuff inlaid in the past.
Hmm, that's weird. You can send me a quick email to anwag.london(at)gmail.com or DM me on instagram (@livepokerguide), and I'll send it manually. Thanks!

I was a winning player every year online for 12 years and greatly improved my winrate in life by stop playing poker and focusing on other activities.
I couldn’t agree more. Thin value is where it’s at at the low stakes. I remember raking in a 200 BB do pot with second pair and was instantly addicted. If the opponent is stinky and bluffs a lot, you can even go all in with the TT on the river. Like over bet even. They will call SO light. I think people vastly underestimate how far out of line you can get vs a bad player you have figured out. It’s insane.

Betting for thin value only works if you have the best hand on the river. What if youre like me and never have the best hand on the river?
I feel this. Lol

I will never understand why winning players make content like this
Because 99 percent of players will not apply it
