Thanks Erik for sharing this, very interesting information. 👍
Check out what " management " truly means by looking at the eradication of almost all vegetation in the harris chain. Water is sick looking
I’m confused. The concern seems to be about nitrogen and phosphorus levels changing the trophic level but spraying the grass and letting it decay releases even more nitrogen and phosphorus. I’d prefer chopped up grass from a harvester over a dead zone caused by an algal bloom depleting oxygen levels. I hate the algal blooms that happen every time they kill the hydrilla, harvesting isn’t perfect but it seems more sustainable IMO. Glad to hear the EPA is stepping up.
When will the spraying start
I would never eat a fish from lakes that are sprayed with these chemicals
Show proof that your chemicals are not cancer causing
They better do something quick otherwise I’m going too sell my property and buy on lake fork . I’ve been coming down there for 25 years and you can’t even fish toho this year.
@@johnhelems721 as someone who tries to be the top trophy bass guide on the lake…I feel your pain
@@TilsonsGuideService hopefully they’ll do something now they got some funding. I’ve got the same color of phoenix as you. I should be down for a month in December, maybe I’ll run across you.
