I have always had a lot of respects for those people who invest their time, money and energy, at the level they can, to restore and preserve the natural environment. These are the kind of souls worthy of the sweet richness of the planet, the ones who should procreate the same caring and loving generation for the continuation of life on the planet.

My area in Florida has a pretty good amount of conservation lands but they are lacking in areas that mangroves grow. They are developing condos and not paying enough attention to the wildlife in the areas. Mud crabs migrate across the road pretty much every day and cars run them over. There are dozens and dozens of dead crabs on the road. They need more lands for the crabs between the condos and they need signage and lights in the migration areas. Preferably theyd have a bridge so the crabs could safely go underneath.

I live in the Florida Keys and I've lived on the water for about 27 years or more down here, and the major cause of seed grass death here is settlement, that is stirred up when boats ground and try to get off, but when they run at full speed over a mudflat it takes up a long run of s e d i m e n t. Big boats with multiple engines are tearing up the bottom and every weekend it gets worse and the water stays murky until Wednesday or Thursday and on Sunday and starts all over again. This settlement Travels With The Tides out to the reefs miles from where it was kicked up and Settles and kills. Mangrove Act of 1996 was m e n t to protect the trees, but in the Florida Keys the building inspectors zoning department the EPA and the dep and the FWC all turn a blind eye to it. I've been reporting trees that are being cut down they are over 35 ft tall and 6 inches in diameter 18 ft off the ground. The Rings are uncountable they are so old. Mangrove trees do not grow 2 ft a year. They grow very slowly. You've got people working on the grass flat and Mangrove tree send to shut down to Monroe County in the Florida Keys. Please

The Everglades Nature Preserve projects are great. Scientist should expand restoration projects like this one Worldwide. East & West coast Mexico coastlines of Africa, Spain, Indian Ocean, and more. Improving the environment in one area, and another, and another, is good for the whole planet.

They just divested the America Everglades restoration projects in Feb 2024 😥 It was the State 404 Program. floridadep.gov/water/submerged-lands-environmental-resources-coordination/content/state-404-program
Florida submitted an appeal but doubt it'll be approved.

if a population is too low, there are just not enough to find each other to mate. There are other thresholds that need to be reached too.

most of this is due to the greed of overfishing yal got commercial fisheries taking out all the fish which gives nutrients to the same sea grass. greed is the cause to the ocean being the way it is
