Yo I have a question:
What's the name of the technique you use from 0:01 to 0:11? The first time I heard the song I was thinking if that was or wasn't a guitar. Cool cover btw
Its called "muting". In this case, I was using my left hand, not my right hand's palm, which is called "palm muting". All you do is put your hand over the strings, not pressing down, just enough to dampen the sound.
You can do it on acoustic or electric guiatrs, but in thise case, i used an electric guitar with some distortion to make the sound stick out more. Hope that helps! :))
