It was a pleasure meeting you guys tonight at dinner at the Paradisus grand Cana. Keep up the good work. Maybe for another video please try and explore what activities or sights there are to see/do here other than Santo Domingo trip. Some hidden gems. Good luck. Indu
It was lovely to meet you too, Indu! we're preparing some videos on sights in and around Punta Cana, along with cool excursions you can do, etcetera. Thank you for the idea! 😀
@@NittyGrittyTravelers A must, I went April of last year, I do recommend getting the Platinum package. Funny someone asked this because I am not debating to going to Lopesan, Princess was sold out for the weekend we wanted.
After looking at your wonderful review, I'm considering going here this summer, July to be exact. Should I be expecting to experience an over abundance of seaweed?
To be perfectly honest, you can expect seaweed to be present in July. The hotels do the best they can to block it with sea barriers and picking up from the beach what gets through. The way we see it is that this is true for every Caribbean country, Mexico and the US during seaweed season and we need to take this into account during summer travel. Thank you for watching our videos, Kay! we appreciate your support :) You can check the price of the Lopesan on Expedia using our affiliate link: expedia.com/affiliate/To83yTg. If you book through this link, we make a small commission at no cost to you, and it helps us grow our channel :)
Thanks for a wonderful review! I'm concerned that the property is so big that a lot of time would be wasted trying to get from place to place. I noticed that there's some type of transportation to take you to your room. Is that true?
We didn't see internal transportation (i.e. a train) to move guests around the property. The hotel is indeed quite big (there are bigger resorts, like the Hard Rock) and quite a bit of walking is needed. They got around this somewhat by keeping the pools and beach on the same side of the resort and the bulk of the amenities on another wing of the resort which comes alive at night. This way you kind of stay in one part of the hotel during the day and the other at night. You can also contact the hotel to book a mobility scooter if you need one (not included in the price).
My only concern is about the beach ( lot of boats around in the sea), but I will try anyway because of your review- will book for February 2024. Thanks. 😎
Never book any resort based on the review of one youtuber. The hotels are paying selected youtubers to do positive reviews of their hotels. Its a win for the hotel and a win for the reviewer. You need to speak to those who have stayed at these large resorts for at least a week and who are not being remunerated
We recommend TRANSEKUR 🙂 you can book online on their website with a credit card or we can help you book it using paypal at no extra cost. I hope this helps! -Ari
Would you happen to have a link or name of the app to book the A La Carte restaurants? Staying here next week and would like to book them ahead of time as I have heard they are fully booked at times. Thanks
Hi, Lourence 🙂 we recommend you see our review video for the Lopesan and the one for the Republica; both videos are on our channel. We like the Lopesan over the Riu Republica, but both hotels have a different focus, and it will depend on the type of vacation you're looking for. Hope this helps! 😃
I read in one TripAdvisor review that there wasn't alot of fish dishes at the restaurants, is this true? Do you think the food is better at Lopesan or Falcon Resort? Also Do they have any activities during the day to keep kid entertained besides water park?
It’s not that there are no fish dishes but we’ve been to resorts with a more varied seafood offering. There is a kid’s and teen’s club for the younger ones 🙂
Hello 😃 I am looking to stay at the Lopesan for more than 5 days and read a review saying that only 3 a la carte reservations are allowed during your stay. Do you know if this is true?
Is it true theater shows are for adults only? That would be wrong for families with kids😮 Is it my impression or the resort feels boring and without people?
The pools are located in the same area as the rooms. The hotel is big so you can expect to do quite a bit of walking. The boulevard is in a different area than the rooms and it’s somewhat far. The Lopesan is one of the biggest hotels we’ve stayed in so far.
We pay for every hotel we stay at. We've stayed in 15 Punta Cana resorts already and are working our way to staying in every single one. No hotel has ever paid us a dime and our opinion is honest and thorough. You are more than welcome to watch any of our videos and make up your mind. We are plenty critical when there are things we don't like. When we like a hotel we also recommend it gladly.
You guys rock! Love the comparison of reviews to experience. Much appreciated.
Thank you! 🙂
Super good review format...Good job !

Glad it was helpful! 😀
Congratulations on the video. What month did you stay at the resort?
Booked it for Feb/Mar 2024! Thanks
Great video. How does Lopesan compare to Grand Bavaro Princess?
We haven't been yet, we'll make sure to bump it up on our to-go list!

We gonna try both June and july😊, unique and platinum 😊

Great Video! How does Lopesan compare to Finest Punta Cana and Royalton Bavaro Punta Cana?
Hi, Lakeisha 🙂 we haven't been to the Finest Punta Cana yet but here's our review of the Royalton Bavaro!: ruclips.net/video/97fe4dpt1qs/видео.html
Going here with my girlfriend May 24 This year! We booked the unique experience. Super excited
Would love to hear your experience with Unique! Have fun 😃

Any opinion on the Unique upgrade?

It is far from the beach for non swimmer like me I actually like it.

I have one more question for you😊. Do they clean the room every day? I mean, at the unique club? I am a little worried about it. Thank you🤩
Yes, turn down service is done every day 🙂
Hello, do you have any good transfers to recommend from the airport to the Lopesan?

Hi. Thanks for the video. Can you please tell me how’s room service?
Hola Jenny! Unfortunately we didn’t order room service at the Lopesan 🙂

Hey 🙂 you access the web based app via a QR code at the resort and can only book the restaurants on the day. Hope this helps 😀
Hi guys I need help deciding between riu republica and lopesan

@NittyGrittyTravelers thanks alot Am looking for constant party vibes so I don't get bored
If party vibe is the main thing then the Republica comes out ahead :)

The food offering in the Lopesan is broader as there are more restaurants. The food quality is similar between the two 🙂
@@NittyGrittyTravelers one more question...is the food better at Lopesan or Dreams Onyx?
Taste and quality is similar. The Lopesan has more restaurants to choose from since it’s a bigger resort
Hello 😃 I am looking to stay at the Lopesan for more than 5 days and read a review saying that only 3 a la carte reservations are allowed during your stay. Do you know if this is true?
Just saw in your video that there are no limits on bookings. I wonder if this is something they have changed since you visited
We haven’t heard of this and I highly doubt this is true because it doesn’t make any sense for this to be a rule. It’s probably a misunderstanding
Is it true theater shows are for adults only? That would be wrong for families with kids😮
Is it my impression or the resort feels boring and without people?
Is it a far walk from the rooms to the boulevard? Or to the pools?
The pools are located in the same area as the rooms. The hotel is big so you can expect to do quite a bit of walking. The boulevard is in a different area than the rooms and it’s somewhat far. The Lopesan is one of the biggest hotels we’ve stayed in so far.
what about tips? how much it is ?
We’re planning on doing a video on tipping soon 😀
Awesome!.
I would like a video on how to spot fake reviews, please!
Keep an eye out for our next video this Sunday where we address this and give you a tip on how to spot fake review ;)
there are loads of fake reviews on yotube. do not rely on youtubve
There are so many better resorts. Don’t go here. People need to stop rewarding mediocrity. And this place, while beautiful, is a failure.
You are obviously paid by Lopesan
