An advice is to not shake the proucts around in front of the camera while reviewing. It is difficult to focus since you're very zoomed in on the watches. Hold them more still when you're talking and allow the camera to focus in on the product properly.

@@mrjcarbonell07 Hello! I used to own a BIP as well and I must say the UI is definitely not just clearer to see, but also way more smoother than the BIP. Scrolling through the interface is really smooth as you can see in the video. Font size wise they're or less the same but the display on the GTS is higher in resolution and much larger in size than the BIP. As for the stopwatch, no, you cannot keep it running in the background. Hope this helps!

I bought the GTR, LOVE IT! My only "gripe" is that it is a little difficult to add custom watch faces. I was able to do it eventually, but I wish they'd make it easier.
I really wish Amazfit would finally up their game and focus on their transreflective Display technology. Their whole popularity comes from the Amazfit Bip and Verge - if that isn't enought they should finally wake up after all these medicore AMOLED only screens (and nothing else can be said towards AMOLED in bright sunlight - no matter what vendor).

Great comparison. Can you do a more in depth look at the sport tracking? I saw in another video that the run tracking only shows a fixed set of readings and you can’t change it. Is that true? The Stratos that I have now allows you to show 4 or 6 different readings on the screen at one time. Also, is the GTR considered the next version of the Stratos or do you think Amazfit will come out with an upgrade for the Stratos too? It would be great to get a newer version with better screen, battery life and magnetic charger.
Hello! I actually did a tracking accuracy test on the GTS which performs similar may to the GTR in my previous upload. You can find it on my channel. As for the GTR vs Stratos, I’d say they’re both very different devices. The GTR is for bare basics whereas the Stratos is more hardcore. It comes with better trackers, in built memory and much more. So it really depends on your needs 😉
I remember in the other video you said that the music control is a little bit laggy. So between those 2, which one is better on music control? And please compare with newly released Huawei GT 2 which have speaker, mic and internal storage. Thank you!
Both the GTS and GTR are very similar in terms of performance. Both are equally laggy for music controls. I'll definitely try to compare it with the Huawei GT2 when it is open for orders!

How about notifications? Is there any kind of interactivity? I’m not talking about typing replies or picking up calls but simple ones like archive an email or mark an incoming SMS as read or stuff like that? I remember my Pebble used to have that functionality but it looks like it’s non existent in new smartwatches.

I have been using the amazfit GTR recently. The GPS is very bad unfortunately. If you are looking a watch with good GPS tracking this is not going to give accurate activity routing. I am not sure about the GTS though.

You can only view notifications. You cannot reply to messages. If you need something where you can reply on your smartwatch, you'll have to look for an Android Wear smartwatch :)
Hello! Are you referring to the Always-on display function on the GTR? If so, battery life is reduced pretty significantly. I haven't used it long enough yet but I reckon you'd be sacrificing 4-5 days from the initial quoted time of 12 days.
Sorry but my question was, as app continues work in background, and watch is always connected with phone, does this affect phones battery also? And does the watch work when disconnected with Bluetooth?
Salman Abdullah You can’t make calls & can’t receive calls, but they notify you if there’s incoming calls. You can’t set pic in those watches, I don’t think any smartwatches can use your own pics
I think GTS is better because it's newer, slightly bigger battery. But I like GTR better because of the round shape. I you want a smartwatch which can make & receive calls, you should check samsung active 2. It has internal memory too, you can store & play some music independently

Go for Huawei GT2, expensive but it's the best smartwatch so far.

You can only clear notifications on your watch. However, these will not affect the notifications on your smartphone.

The bezels are not rubber. It’s aluminum of some sort.

How do you know the hr functionality is very accurate?
I cross checked it with an OMRON blood pressure monitor. I have high BP so I rely alot on these information.

I'd suspect 5 days but I haven't had the update for that long yet. So far I've been through 2 days and battery is down to 60%.
