    One thing Ford are good at are Great Handling Little cars like the Fiesta so you can have a little bit of luxury and a bit of sportiness to boot, best of both worlds.

      Yes…and now they’ve gone, time to pickup an XR2 or RS Turbo 😀

    Wow, they have come along way since the old mk1. I do like a bit of luxury myself, so to see smaller cars with toys is great. I wish my f20 1 series had the screen :)

      @PlanetautoUK  6 лет назад +1

      Haven't they, have you owned any Fiesta models? I used to have a Fiesta Mk2 Festival, same dashboard as the XR2 loved it. Yes a luxurious place to be and adaptive cruise control too.

      Planet Auto lol. Believe it or not yes. I had one when I was 15 along side my e30 1985 318i. It was supposed to be a project as it was crashed damaged. It was a 3 door 1989 F reg mk3 1.1L in diamond white. I never got to drive it as my bmw got all the attention. My auntie got it in the end :)
      I did get to drive a mk3 once thou when I was 17. It was a late mk3 1.8 diesel. I didn’t like it at all, but I think it was due to driving in a place I’ve never been to before, and my driving instructor was so relaxed he fell asleep lol:)
      I’m 35 now, so about 20 years ago. Wow!!! Time flies :)

      Amazing, that must have been one of the first Mk3's, mine was an E reg Mk2 - crazy, the XR2i and RS Turbo Mk3 are quite iconic today, fun fast cars for the time, and yes it certainly does.

    Is the B&O sound system worth the extra cost over standard 6 speakers?

    • @PlanetautoUK
      @PlanetautoUK  Год назад

      It was, likely most B&O systems will be hammered now or have you found a brand new Fiesta for sale?

  • @elias03120
    @elias03120 5 лет назад +2

    The vignale is overkill for a fiesta. I own the titanium version with automatic gearbox. My only problems with it are that the automatic gearbox and the fuel consumption could have been better (but are in no way bad). Otherwise the car is pretty much perfect. The interior is fantastic (for the price), the infotainment system is one of the best and it drives like a much more expensive car both in town and in the motorway. Honestly it is really difficult to get a better value at this price. Highly recommend this.

    • @PlanetautoUK
      @PlanetautoUK  5 лет назад

      Thank you, that’s great to hear, the Titanium trim is very good. We’re currently driving the Focus Active X Estate and this is something else, B & O system, Adaptive cruise and great looks.

      Be interesting to see it long term, on the late 2015 model, the car still achieves 44 with spirited driving.

      @PlanetautoUK  6 лет назад

      forresg500 not long to wait now, it’s a very impressive car especially with that auto gearbox. How do you find the ST Line?

    • @forresg500
      @forresg500 6 лет назад +1

      i have enjoyed the st line -
      i have liked driving car, extra grunt of 140ps engine, handling and its quite fun drive.
      i like body kit of st line and seats with bits that hug at side. colour was magnetic very nice when cleaned
      its averaged around 43 mpg i know auto will be less but dont mind.

      forresg500 that’s great to hear, it shows you loved it the fact your staying loyal to the Fiesta. You will live the Auto box it’s very good, very comfortable interior too.

      i had test drive of titanium auto mk8 before placing order and yes box seemed very good with smooth seamless shifts.
      some people online said mk8 changes were bit hesiitant sometimes, cant say i noticed this.
      what is the average every day mpg of auto out of interest?

    moi aussi j'ai eu une Ford de juin 2018 neuve pourrie de rouille au niveau du train avant,avec le cuir du siège qui se déchire ,et surtout,comme tu le dis aussi,avec des freins à disques à l'avant qui font un bruit de ferraille en fin de course,et cela ne s'arrete pas! Même le fabricant du système de freinage de ma Ford,à savoir ATE, nous dit qu'ils n'ont jamais entendu cela sur une voiture neuve! Mais Ford dit que c'est normal .On s'affronte avec Ford. Ce sont des lettres que je ne supporte plus F.O.R.D.!

    ATE Continental Freins à disque avants ATE Continental qui équipent la Fiesta nouvelle neuve actuelle:voyez ,où plutôt écouter ce qui se passe lorsqu'on freine,en terminaison de freinage,c'est assourdissant,à croire qu'il n'y a pas de garniture et que cela frotte plaquette sans garniture contre disque sonore,et ceci c'est tout le temps de l'année,et c'est audible à l'intérieur de la Fiesta,vitres fermées;on ressent même le crissement dans la pédale de frein Pour le chef d'atelier,c'est normal...voyons donc! mais après 36 000 km et 1an et demi à rouler,les crissements de tôle en terminaison de freinage sont toujours làl Pas la moindre amélioration! Mais ceci n'est pas sans conséquence pour Ford,car à cause de ces ATE Continental,autour de moi,plus personne ne veut acheter une Ford neuve
