I haven’t seen that turbine car carrier before. Love the colour. Iv got a turbine dump truck and in the process of making a pup trailer for it. Work in progress. Love all your videos mark.

@@Paulsoper-b7i thanks so much Paul! Oh nice! I love the pup trailer trucks. Yes that dark color turbine car carrier was a one year only toy and it can be tough to find but they definitely pop up 🙂 that and the matching dump are some of my favorites.

Sow what are the oldest tonkas in your collection and do ever let kids play with them or is it just look but don't touch.oh and what's the most money you ever spend on a Tonka and do think you paid to much or was its good deal at the time?🚛🚚🚜🚚🚛☺☺

@@sylvainburelle9102 thanks for watching and thanks for the questions.
Most are from the 60s and newer. My oldest is my 1948 model 100 shovel. Second year of the first two Tonkas ever made. I don’t let the kids play with the ones in my collection but I have some extras that they love to play with and I plan to do something new soon with the kids in my videos. The most I ever spent on one single Tonka was my near mint 1967 scraper with the box. It cost me around $250 I believe it was. That was possibly a once in a lifetime opportunity and one of my bucket list toys. Definitely more than a fair price for it as it’s worth a lot more. Most of them I do not buy unless it’s a bargain meaning if I wanted to I could sell it for more immediately and I mean a bargain including shipping costs because most of my collection were not local finds. When I first started out I definitely was inexperienced and over paid a few times. Since I’ve tried to learn all I can about these toys and share it everyone because I don’t want anyone to have to feel bad like I did. I always tell everyone, know what you’re looking for and know what you’re looking at, because there’s lots of dishonest people out there looking to take advantage of collectors 🙂

@@mightytonkamadness I agree sometimes you got know when to step up and pay and wen two walk away empty handed. it's sucks some times but when you got bills to pay to it better to have money in you pocket than be flat broke .family always come first toy collecting second👍😉😉🚜🚛🚜🚚
