Thank you so much. The dish soap and vinegar worked on a 3 year old set in coffee stain. No scrubbing just soaking. I am thrilled to be able to wear that top again.

Every time I watch a tutorial video it sounds more like this... 1 soak in water, if that doesn't work then nuke the fabric. And if that doesn't work then swim into shark infested waters and see if that helps.

The advice given in the video is terrible! Vinegar could work - subject to testing; but not at such ridiculously low ratios! Rubbing alcohol??? WHY? Coffee is water soluble so you don't need a solvent! THEN - chlorine OR oxygen bleach??? For the love of god people! I'm so annoyed by this its nonsense!
To actually remove an organic stain peroxide will suffice, testing vinegar can help as tannic stains can respond to vinegar but I'd go with peroxide first, dabbed on with a cotton ball and then launder. This has irritated me so much I'm going to do a video on it!

If the shirt has logos/designs on it that are colored, mine has an orange Nickelodeon logo on the left breast and a blue rugrats logo on the right breast, will this method fade or blotch the colored areas? Thank you

"It's so easy to get a coffee stain... And it's even easier to remove it!" Kind of stupid narration is that? So, you're saying this process you're describing (potentially with several steps and several cleaning products) is easier than simply dumping a cup of coffee on your shirt?
