When they patch players like Steezo they patch the rest of the community too. There's a whole library of animations in this game that are rendered useless because they don't allow any spacing and are so slow that the defense can easily react even if they're not a very good defender. This is why dexxing is so popular now. The state of the gameplay is bad.

However, to entertain the argument here's food for thought --- None of my builds have defense this year, as in every build I have has 25 Red attributes across the board, and I never have a problem defending. That's how bad the offense is this year. You can leave the best shooter wide open and there's still a chance they will miss. Defense this year is a joke, if you need anything above 80 perimeter defense, then you're just bad with the sticks. They even cancel you out of dunking animations if a bad contest comes in late... Defense doesn't need anymore help in this game.

People calling good stick skills an exploit is just crazy to me. This is like when the NBA patched Allen iverson from his crossover irl. Everything steezo did, (could potentially) be done in real life except for the double spin. But to literally take everything from this man is crazy to me. You will run into a left stick dribbler who moves the ball or a left stick dribbler with zero IQ more than you run into a player like steezo…unless ur playing stage all day. That play style is not as adaptable as many would like to believe. As a consumer I am always going to demand more out of the developers than players.

I knew this ish was happening man. I got builds that just fall the freak off. They get slowed down, my bigs blocks go from 7 to 8 a game to now 1 to 2 a game. I went for a Swat animation and they forced me to a standing block attempt with 2 hands up. They are now giving me random block animations man. It's passing me off.
From someone’s point of view, every playstyle is invalid. Therefore, let it all be valid and let the players figure it out. The same cycle of people complaining about how someone else plays is exhausting, as much as it is entertaining

@@raiderjedi4160they didn't take HIS moves out the game cut it out. They removed a 720 spin that wasn't supposed to be happen to begin with. And they fixed the unnatural speed boost in one of the stepbacks. They weren't his moves but exploits he found to get an advantage

So tired of constant changes. I was starting to shoot around 55 to 60%. Some games was 6 for 6. Now im lucky to hit 50% in a game. I'm a timing shooter never been someone to watch my animation. I shot 73% in 24 and 65% in 23 that way.
I did both but this yr its only by watching your animation but the speed of the animation can speed up or slow down. It's crazy.
The fact nobody is mentioning that they patch driblle moves but wont fix gameplay. 99 rebound tipping rebounds then smaller gaurds are getting the board . Play good defense an the offense get rewarded just trash

Facts. 2k doesn't do nearly enough testing. They break builds, dribble moves, gameplay, badges etc cause they don't do enough testing. They release the game in a broken state just to meet quotas.
P.S. Increase the court size so more offenses can legitimately be an option in 5v5 modes
Dribble moves are just mechanics put in a game ON PURPOSE but you can’t be crying like as if it’s a sin the devs just patched your streamed gameplay. You literally streamed it and you’re surprised a dev saw it and took action immediately.

Patches kill games… You have to make sure your games come out good. And let the ppl who take the time find out random
amazing dribble moves. Patches need to be for Lag, broken courts etc. Not for moves that you can crest by putting moves with certain signatures together. That’s like basketball. That’s how the “zero step” ONLY ALLOWED IN THE NBA came to fruition. Somebody did it so smooth the refs let it slide. You can’t patch everything because it’s was not intending to be in the game. Let the creators create.

I don’t think it matters how many people they get to test the game. There will also be glitches that don’t get found out. Maybe release a demo so the masses can test the game and they can sort out glitches earlier
My whole thing is people happy about being patched to be “realistic” when its in a PARK game mode its one thing to do it rec or a 5v5 pro am playing ranked or even proving grounds but its park its really not gonna be realistic how many people you see in mascots hooping in real life and if you want people to play with the same realistic mindset go play the realistic game modes like rec or pro am because there’s way more wrong either the game than some dribbling moves being unrealistic like l2 or zens or the steals that got buffed and is annoying

How my 198, 6'8 build with 79 speed wit ball is faster than my 6'7 190 with 82 speed wit ball. Both have gold lightning both have 85 speed and 84 ballhandle.

Having a community or a following that you influence and all you do is call the game trash, or say negative things about the game is counterproductive to what you’re asking them to produce. You want a clean game but get mad at patches that fix glitches. This game is not bad. Theres bad moments. There’s bad animations. Theres/was (idk anymore) rng for no reason, but overall it’s a better game than last year. Expectations were high and that’s on the community for thinking to highly of what was coming.

Bro. I create my name ZeroChillDunkGod back on 2k23 and had an unstoppable HOF posterizor dunker with perimeter, gold dribbling, and hof interior defense. I was destroying people scoring 20 plus points 100% straight dunking. I even played a few people with 2k logos in the theater ones courts talking mad ish. And after the 1st season, they updated the builder to where you could not even make that player anymore. They also nerfed dunking later that year and ever since, it has gotten worse. I used to send my friend clips, and he said I played a dev in one of them. Wonder if they wanted me out the game cuz I used to talk so much trash 😂.

Cheesy or not Stezo is only doing things that are with in the game 2K puts that stuff in the game and then they get upset when people learn about it and exploded if they would take more time to test their game i.e. bringing in people like Stezo to already know what’s coming out to the public we wouldn’t have to deal with all of this trickery the devs are the ones Who failed to properly Flesh out the game
