Quartus II Tutorial v10.0

This is a quick-start tutorial on how to design and program your first circuit using Altera's Quartus II Design software. This is for the students of ELN8303, Digital Logic Analysis, and uses version 10.0, and the target board is a DE1

Hi, glad you liked the tutorial! Part of making the program for the target board is assigning the correct pins. I am using a DE1 board, so if you have a circuit that flashes an LED, then your output would have to be directed to the appropriate pin that would eventually be sent to the LED on the DE1 board. I may try and make a quick video that shows more of the process and shows the program working on the board, if you think that might be helpful. Thanks again for the comments! Cheers, Jim.

Go to altera.com and search for Quartus II software under design software, and get the web edition ... it's the free one.
