i never thought i’d like any series more than treasure era but the world series is so specifically ateez that it solidified it imo. my rank: the world ep 2 the world fin the world ep 1
Thank you. I enjoyed this entire reaction. Something I found a little funny--when I came across this last night, I saved it in my "watch later" thinking it was just a reaction to Crazy Form. I guess I didn't read the whole title. And the length didn't throw me off because I know reactors that take that long (and even longer) to react to a song. But then when I started to watch the video this morning, I was like, "ok, she's not even pausing while watching, so.......what the HELL is she going to be doing for over an hour?!" That's when I finally looked at the description and saw it was an entire album review. 😂 But that made me so happy. I love watching people take an Ateez album journey, and this was one hell of a journey. Plus, Fin: Will was a perfect ending, and I don't know how many times I've cried to it (including this reaction). I love Ateez so much. They've been my ult group since 2021, and they make me feel so much genuine joy (with Yeosang being my bias and my ult in all of kpop). Music is one of the most important things in life to me, and I love when it can make me •feel•, when I can immerse myself in it and experience all these different emotions. Ateez is so good at that. The music and lyrics have substance and meaning, and I appreciate and respect that. It seems odd that your favorite group would make you cry so much, but it just speaks to how great their music is, and I feel that it's a compliment to them, really. That's why, at the end, when you were saying you wish you weren't crying, I know some people just aren't comfortable with that, but for those that are ok expressing themselves in a raw and vulnerable way, I say don't hold back, it shows how much the music affected you, and were they ever to come across your reaction, I bet they'd take it as a compliment (not that they enjoy seeing us cry, but just knowing that what they're putting out there is reaching people, and we're connecting to it, relating to it, being soothed, inspired or ready to change the world [or fuck it up a little bit, where it needs it] because of it). Anyway, I've babbled enough. Again, thank you. I'll definitely be looking into your other reactions. ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
I cried the first time listening to that last track, I cried again watching you listen to it for the first time, and then I cried some more when you started crying when taking about the album. 🥲 I love that I’m moved by music, and I appreciate when others are too. ❤
you’re reactions are so fun omg! note on silver light: it’s a synthwave / synthpop song, which is a genre that was popularized in the 70s and had elements of disco so it does give off retro vibes! their songs take me home and cyberpunk (and a little bit of this world) are their other takes on the genre.
37:43 it’s synthwave or synth pop! silver light is my favourite on the album! they haven’t done a dreamy synthwave song since take me home in fever era so you can imagine my excitement when they finally revisited it, it’s literally their genre!
Silver Light is their 4th Track of Synth Pop The previous Tracks are 1. Take Me Home(Fever Part 2 i.e released in 2021) 2. Cyberpunk(The World EP 1) 3. This World(The World EP 2 i.e last album)
The more you listen, the more you get addicted to this album
ain’t that the truth 😭🤭
