I have a 187 gram 5 inch racer (with battery) and that little thing is indestructible, it simply doesn't have the weight to break itself. it is easily the fastest thing in my fleet, and I've full sent it into a steel lamp-post several times.

I originally was running 850mah 4S lipo, but cutting the weight in the battery well and made up for the loss of voltage and capacity.
Spec racing is really where it's at and to get more people ( like your average pilot) into racing. Racing is hard and sooo fast and spec racing slows that down giving your average pilot a chance at doing relatively well in a race. Not to mention spec racing and especially street league makes drone racing more of a spectators sport with slower speeds, bigger quads and neck n neck racing.
Not to mention it's makes it soooo much easier to build a quad. It can be extremely intimidating for a beginner to even pick out what parts need to go on a rig to make it fly well. In spec leagues you don't have to think about that at all, just buy the parts off the spec sheet, put copy the layout that somebody else has done, and go fly. No need to spend 40 hours researching the pros and cons of 2207 vs 2107 motors lol
Totally spoiled. My favorite podcast featuring the Five33 boys. Great stuff and keep em coming 👏

My most appreciated design from 533 is the arm braces on the Ultralight V2!👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Five33 has always been a supporter of Freedom Spec. Without fail!

I NEED this content - please keep it coming - you guys rock. Please make the episodes easier to find on Mr Ivan’s channel.
Thank you! Hmmm how to make easier to find?
I was thinking putting them all in a playlist. You have one started, but many episodes are missing. Back watching them all again
What if we went back to each drone having a transponder then could we race DJI with HDZero, WalkSnail and Analog?
I think the problem that you still can't send 8 pilots up...
I laughed. I cried. Some pee may have come out
XD
