First of all, thanks for your time to do research and explanation. I was playing shadows on high quality last month, because in recent updates 2-3 months ago they removed manual HIGH SHADOWS on LOW SETTINGs in cs2 video.txt. I have a question, does it still work? ""setting.csm_max_shadow_dist_override" "560" "setting.lb_enable_shadow_casting" "1"" these two settings, and u can have high shadows on low settings if you change those settings in video's cfg, there was also 2 more options : shadow texture width override u set it to 2048 & height to 3072 but i don't see these options anymore so they 100% removed it... if you can explain me i'd appreciate it. After watching your video i think i will stick to low shadow quality
Hey i have a detailed video in progress. I am putting up thorough research for it so you will see an answer by next week. I l also create a simple notion web page so people who hate spending time watching yt video can just see the comparison on a simple webpage.
i saw a video that i dont remember from who. so i dont know if its changed. but i thought on low you miss shadows all over on nuke? on b site and on rafters on a site. also in trophy room?
lol these videos are so funny , the fps boost will hardly depend on your pc setup , it can give u 60 frames or 6 frames, generalizing like this is useless :D
Sure every system is different hmmm? What you wanna say? This Video can be Seen as a direction or sth maybe Wort trying. His AMD NVIDIA combo isnt that rare aswell.
@@Eppi1337 lol intel nvidia combo , besides cpu and gpu , there is more parts in PC mr Eppi Jobs . like RAm , like motherboard , psu , hard disks , etc .
@austintarantino5619 who needs dynamic shadows in a competitive game? it's absolutely useless and make people on slower rigs have a disadvantage for no reason other than looks
@glashausAimz2 if you think shadows only provide look you are sadly mistaken and probably die to your shadow a lot without even knowing. It definitely provides a competitive edge in certain scenarios. And if you have a bad rig you're probably not playing Counter-Strike at a competitive level, let alone Counter-Strike the game you should be playing. If it's a game you enjoy, just enjoy not playing it at a competitive level
@@austintarantino5619 i have 7800x3d and 4080super. but why is everyone in this community so effin selfish to justify this minor advantage instead of removing it and making mid range rigs more viable? why is every broke kid shouting outdated rig and upgrade first? i don't enjoy seeing people around the corner. especially if an older rig has to switch them off to pump enough fps. this just ruins the experience for new players with a mediocre pc. why is this so hard to understand and why are you explaining to me the advantage of having it on? do you know how much fps more you have by having it off? would it not be more beneficial for everyone to simply get rid of it for the sake of fairness in a competitive shooter?
Thanks for giving us the best tutorials

@@cs2kitchen Thanks alot brother, I'll subscribe so i get notification about that. May Allah almighty bless you
Good info, but what about ambient occlusion. I know it’s minimal at most, but was considerable for competitive play.
It doesnt work the same way it used to. I am not sure about its usecase anymore. However before saying that i need to test it vehemently

I think the point is he’s bringing awareness so that people should at least try it for themselves and see if it positively impacts their performance
