You should do a video testing “tweaks” that change pc settings for cs2. Resolution Timer. Other registry edits. I wonder if any of them even make a difference.

Why ?
Wouldnt recommend using "-noflex". In short, it decreases throughout (fps) but also decreases latency. Very important for a shooter like CS2
Great video, subbed. One slight thing, i recently upgraded to an AMD gpu from my gtx970, i know its not possible for you to test (probably) but it would be cool to see if anyone else in the comments has any data for the AMD version of nvdia reflex low latency and potential performance impact. I play with it off already, but perhaps forcing it as a console command makes a difference? Cheers
Antilag is usually worse than reflex in most cases, i would assume cs2 keeps the trend and is better to turn off

Yes and that's why we need to put data into people's head instead of word of mouth.
-noreflex along max frame cap through nvidia control panel gives a measurable boost in 1% lows and framepacing when compared to setting fps_max in-game. It´s tricky to measure because the cs2 fps benchmark map resets fps_max to 0 when the run starts, but it´s very noticeable in any other benchmark method, or if you type your actual fps_max value in console right after the cs2 fps benchmark map starts.
Yes, I run -noreflex and fps_max 450 without gysnc and vsync enabled. This was a strictly launch option video so I just stuck to the topic instead.
@@cs2kitchen instead of fps_max 450 try max frame rate 450 in nvidia control panel (and fps_max 0 in-game), can be a big difference overall if already using -noreflex.
Hey my bad, I actually meant i set it at nvcp using max frame rate. The in game limiter is kinda bugged with reflex but I cannot pinpoint why. I tried some recommendations with gsync and vsync as well but it actually hurt my performance across both my systems.

yes that is right, but sometimes they don't molly it. It is a gimmick play, you do it that one random time to surprise your enemies

How do i change the "aim instructions" text? In your grenade example it didnt take your text, too. I cant get it to work.
It doesn't take the value from console directly, as u see later I edited aim instructions directly from mirageGuide.txt file which allowed me to change so. Watch the end of the video carefully, hope it helps. Sorry for my accent, I know it can make things difficult.

just in general for cs2: is a crouchjump bind needed? For which scenarios for example?
it doesn't work anymore, it's useful in making jumps of heights greater than 65 units, like the firebox jump etc. However now it is relatively easier to do so without a bind cuz average jump height has also increased.

You can pass empty string arguments while creating nodes, if you want to reverse you can go to the title description values and remove the text from there.

You can do anything, but if you use grenade command the icon still shows to be a smoke
@@cs2kitchen can you change the icon? Because on workshop maps you have icons for flash and molotovs. Could be something with the ID but I am not sure

No, just make sure it is in annotation folder. It is also not case sensitive so there is no problem if you hit the capslock randomly

Is there a option to hide labels until you step into the 'circle'? I can imagine a spot on the map with lots of nades and if you would see all of labels at once it could get crowdy and confusing.
Yes, you can. Just change: FadeInDist = 1.0 FadeOutDist = -1.0 but this might be too low, so just check what works for you
