Upwind ability of up to date inflatable wings, the Exowing and the Peak-Parawing-Conversion are all three pretty much the same, pointing around 45°. But Exowing can be trimmed in a wide range of profile settings from low to high winds. But actually I use Exowing mostly for light wind wake thiefing and Parawing for higher lake wind wave downwinding and upwinging. Classic inflatable wings I nearly haven't used anymore in 2024, quick (un)foldability of the new toys is one of many advantages. More details You may find in the forum.
Video is mostly Germany / Chiemsee, showing at moderate west and east wind conditions. Allowed me to have about 20 parawing - DW - session there during last 8 month since spring 2024.
Nice…I converted my 3.5 m 3 lines Ozone trainer, it does not have a depower line, I shorten ( removed the pigtail knots & reconnected ) lines to use as a Parawing but very under power. FS Peak 4 has 2 depower lines, how did you shorten the depower lines? Thx…
Peak5 in 2,5 m², for higher winds Peak4 in 3,0 m², which has the best over all behaviour Exowing 3,5 m², which has the option to be used as 2,5 m², when wingtips are kept folded
Nasawing is IMO just thinkable as a PaddleUp replacement, as its upwind capability should be even worse than BRM Maliko. If You want to go fast back upwind between Your DW runs till now there is IMO nothing that beats Exowing or Peak-Parawing-Conversions Diskussion auf Deutsch findet sich hier: oaseforum.de/showthread.php?p=1493890

Thanks for the video ! what is your feedback regarding the Exowing ? more specifically, how about the upwind performance compared to a classic wing ?

THX for the nice Video! Can you say on what lake you are?

What size peaks are you using?
Peak5 in 2,5 m², for higher winds
Peak4 in 3,0 m², which has the best over all behaviour
Exowing 3,5 m², which has the option to be used as 2,5 m², when wingtips are kept folded
@@horstsergio3568that is what I imagined. Hate the idea of going out holding something bigger than 3m2
Sollte das nicht sogar mit einem Nasawing klappen?
