Checked the price of this board, it's even cheaper and lighter that Gong ones!

In my honest opinion, it’s simply better-stiffer and much lighter than the comparable Gong boards.

This is like brake neck windsurfing speeds back in good old days, I love it.

@@klrrafman Yes, I live it too! 😍 And if I ride the SK8 650 or the Eagle X 600, there's even more speed!

@@buenacloud Hi Cezary, Isn't there too much overlap between Sk8 650 and the Eagle X 600 regarding wind conditions...? Or do you have such different overall conditions to position both of them advantageously, with the huge difference in AR...? Cheers 🤙Wolfgang

      @@WolfFoilParosGreece Hi Wolfgang,
That’s a great point. I’m still figuring out whether I really need both. The Eagle X offers significantly more glide compared to the SK8 650, while the SK8 650 provides nicer carving. This overlap might be the reason I didn’t get the Eagle X 800 or 1000-I already have the SK8 950 and 850.
I don’t want to lose the glide offered by the Eagle X, nor do I want to sacrifice the speed and carving of the SK8. I’m constantly debating which foil to bring to Fuerteventura every next time : the SK8 650 or the Eagle X 600.
For foiling in Majanicho and riding out from Corralejo toward Los Lobos, the Eagle X is better suited. Meanwhile, near the harbor in Corralejo or at Sotavento, the SK8 feels like a better fit.
Honestly, I don’t know which one I prefer-I like them both. Quall der Wahl 🙂!
      Cheers!

@@buenacloud Understandable...! What about the "normal" Eagle 690 as a compromise...? 😅

    • @buenacloud

@@WolfFoilParosGreece I’ve only tried the 1099 and the 899 from the first Eagle line, and both felt too flexible at the tips for my taste. It created a slight delay in response whenever I tried to carve more aggressively, and neither felt particularly stable. That’s why I didn’t stick with them and waited for the SK8 range. I’m really happy with the SK8s-I think they’re sets I can hold on to for quite a while, similar to how I settled on the W550 Sabfoil Fluente for kitefoiling.
That said, the new Eagle series has definitely gotten me thinking again, mainly because of the conditions at Majanicho and near Los Lobos. The waves there are fast, and with the SK650, I find myself missing a bit of glide. It’s a long story, really-one of those endless discussions! Hahaha. 🙂

Considering your skill level: why not to pick something like 60L? You still would be able to do it.

I already have boards in 34, 38, 50, and 85 liters-check my older videos. The reason I chose this board is that the wind on Fuerteventura in winter can be unpredictable, and I wanted to ensure I could ride every day, even if it drops to 6 knots. Plus, this board is super comfortable for traveling.
In the summer, when I go to Fuerteventura, I take a smaller board with me, but I’ve never had a day without at least 20 knots of wind.

@@buenaclouddo you think that a smaller board is much more fun than this one, if the conditions allow for it or is this one just a "little less fun" and you could still take this one in any condition and have a blast?

      @buenacloud  22 часа назад +1

@@axxis001 A smaller board, in the 30-50L range, can definitely be much more fun if the conditions are right. It’s more responsive, agile, and allows for sharper turns and a more dynamic ride, which adds an extra thrill to your session. That said, this board is still an absolute blast. While it might not be as playful in optimal conditions as a smaller board, it’s versatile and delivers a smooth, enjoyable experience, no matter the conditions. Both have their unique appeal, and you can’t go wrong! Hope it helps you and you are happy with this answer. Cheers!
