well, its true that its most similar to the old games with sprinkles of AC4/4A but not nearing that level of insanity and speed. They want to grab a new and expanded audience for Armored Core and all the interviews show they care very much about the series and are kind of including elements from all gens. This will be my first Armored Core game myself and I've been doing a deep dive on the series/researching so much about Fromsoft from before Demon's Souls. Its been eye-opening and I can't believe I never played what would've probably been one of my favorite games growing up. The motivation I have to make a Knightmare frame in AC lol. Anyway, even though there's nothing like debt, etc, the director of the game basically confirmed that if they have any ideas like that, they want to do them in subsequent games. I wager we'll get an AC6: ____ like Project Phantasma+MoA, Another Age, Silent Line+Nexus, For Answer, Verdict Day, but for AC6, and they'll put some of the more hardcore elements of Armored Core into the sequel/expansion game, once the new players are more comfortable and the returning vets get acclimated again. It would be the best case scenario and maybe we'd even see a remake or remastered collection of some kind? Who knows. I desperately want this game to do well. There will no doubt be MANY people that don't really use their brain or critical thinking much and will tunnel vision on this game just saying "Fromsoftware" and not "Armored Core". They'll expect to get the same vibes, feelings from the lore and gameplay as a Souls/etc game. AC6 will come under a lot of fire for this and I hope the gaming community at large has the head on their shoulders to understand this is an entirely different franchise of games, that Fromsoft actually used to build their foundations of Souls. Along with King's Field of course. Anyway, AC6 deserves to do really really well! For both Fromsoft who are no doubt ecstatic to bring back their baby, and for the Armored Core fans who've been waiting since AC4A or Verdict Day for another AC/another favorite.
keep in mind btw that the expanded stat screens and stuff are still there, the game will def be hard especially for newcomers, and even Vaati had a hard time with a lot of the fights after playing all the games. I think vets will have a lot to love about this one. I want a demo!
I am so excited! It’s been so long since I got an AC game! I played the crap out of AC1 and For Answer! Stealth missions and stuff. So that you appreciate the AC more when you are in it!
Hey Vaati, incase you somehow ever see this, dya think it's also possible for you to upload the isolated soundtrack you recorded? The music for the Balteus fight for example, I'd love to get a proper listen at it.
They don't have debt or limited ammo in this one. The director specifically said they want to make this one accessible to newcomers. Its clear they want Armored Core, which is honestly their baby, to see the same widespread appeal and mainstream popularity as their other games. They've clearly been waiting so long to do another big Armored Core, and now's the time because they've grabbed people to the point where just seeing "Fromsoftware" on a game makes you interested. This will be my first AC and I'm very glad that there will not be a debt system and I'm pretty sure (COULD be wrong) no limited ammo. It won't even make the game too easy for vets either, as you can see that Vaati's experience in the past games does help him here, but he still has a hard time and dies multiple times on more than one boss. Anyway, main reason I'm glad is because it would honestly not make sense to have debt in a brand new AC. Its been 10 years. With the old games, its fact that the debt system basically saw you sticking with a certain build for a prolonged period of time (or even the entire game), one that just *works* and is good. Never really getting the chance to experiment properly or change it up until/unless you REALLY understand the system and can stay out of debt. The whole point of Armored Core is the AC garage and everything you can do to spice up your AC/change your build, and have multiple! So, it stands to reason that they want newcomers to just be able to indulge in the fun of experimenting with different builds and being encouraged to try something new. The director at the end of Vaati's interview specifically, said that once they grab people with AC6 and have the new players comfortable, they would use ideas like debt/etc or put some of the more hardcore elements back in the game, in a sequel! I'd love to get into the series hardcore with AC6 and then get a more *in debt* sequel heh.
@@zerosolis6664 sorry maybe im wrong but as I see from all AC6 gameplay ammo is wasting (look at UI in right bottom corner) and in Garage Buy menu is info about "Total Rounds", also there you can see "Ammunition Cost". Maybe in AC6 you cant go in -minus after mission and get in debts, but from what I see ammo is limited and you need to pay for it. Again maybe Im wrong. But! When you die and respawn at checkpoint - you get full ammo, but in this case you cant get S rank for mission
@@vstrolis you're right but in the old games you can go in to serious DEBT in terms of money because it costs a shit ton of money to replenish ammo. they removed debt in ac6 for the first time ever in the series. so you cant go in to negative budget anymore from armor repair either.

Hey Vaati, incase you somehow ever see this, dya think it's also possible for you to upload the isolated soundtrack you recorded? The music for the Balteus fight for example, I'd love to get a proper listen at it.
9:00-10:00 Okay this is some Ace Combat dialogue.
Thank you for featuring different weapons and builds VaatiVodya

Felt that epic moment.
At first this really didn’t look like my kind of game but the more I watch the more I want to give it a try, it looks really good
FYI. Newcomer Ravens, in AC games ammo are LIMITED.
This is so amazing
the scale being so immense is amazing
God nothing feels better than hearing
"Welcome back, Raven"
What platform was this on, Vaati? It looks real smooth. If this is PC, it shows how much love they've put into the port.
No info about m&k control, yeah classic fromsoft
PC platform apparently have 120fps support according to the people who played the demo.
I love that mission 1 is just straight up "Commit Identity Theft."
17:52 "Main System: Reactivating Combat Mode".

WHO"S AYRE, Where's Walter?? I'm too excited.
i preordereded the game after saw the gameplay.. as easily as that
The sound design is so fugging good.
Looks badass
If VaatiVidya doesn't have any issues with how the gameplay or graphics are, then I can rest assured that other reviewers probably just don't know what they're talking about 🔥 Can't wait to play this game!
He is a From SHITware stan, his opinions are 100% invalid
@@wallacesousuke1433Spreading unnecessary hate here also huh
Just like a COVID virus
@@moonrabbit2334 Sounds like the scrub just needs to get gud.

Handler Walter’s VA sounds like Patrick Seitz, does anyone else hear it or is it just me?

I've noticed it too, pretty sure that's him, hard not to recognize the voice of DIO BRANDO
And scorpion
That is indeed him
The one mech game i ever played was the first zone of enders (years later i learned it had a sequel) and this reminds me so much of it. I remember the game fondly and I'll play this because i trust fromsoft
CAN COMFIRM the AC from the first trailer is the OG RAVEN!!!
I've always loved that you are not the good guy in AC... you are just the sponsored killer in a corporate scheme. Which corporation you work for is up to you.
I just wanna hear that Balteus ost
It looks like everything I wanted, and more.
Gameplay keeps getting better with each title, and the dialogue gets worse😂
