@@lapukasYes, bloody idiots got what they deserved. They had no clue, about Brexit, yet voted Leave!? They are immigrants in Spain, yet hate immigrants in the UK. ?? (they hate being immigrants, so call themselves expats , thinking they're better than others) Many of them were too arrogant to register their presence living in Spain. They didn't pay their taxes, because they lived under the radar, living as 'holidaymakers' The Spanish Government required British residents to have registered their residency, and gave them plenty of time to do so. That was Brexit law, in EVERY European country.!! Those that ignored this, and couldn't prove they lived there (no supporting paperwork,) were told to leave 😂. Then they were 'up in arms', and tried to sue!! True entitled Brits...They lost, thank God. They should be very happy. These Brexiteers are now in the UK, reaping all those Brexit benefits. We live in Europe, so we know what was required , which involved a LOT of paperwork.
I always remember my cousins coming over to Ireland from Birmingham,,and my uncle was so tight it was unreal 1 apple 4 ways,,,we were poor but that took the biscuit, he'd peel an orange in his pocket, ,,,,the English are unbelievable mean and tight with there money
That is because they don't have any! People like this have lived on crap wages all their lives, tugging heir forelocks every pay day, so Benidorm is like a Lottery win to them.
It's quite ironic watching this program, Brits in England always complaining about foreigners not learning the language etc, yet most of the Brits in Benidorm have no intention of learning the language or trying authentic foods, they want cheap crap food, served by Brits. Pot/kettle 😕
A lot of therm voted Leave to protect Britain from 'being overrun by Immigrants!' Talk about no self awareness. They don't understand that the Spanish feel the same about them!
This programme certainly an eye opener , certainly puts me off going to benidorm . I suppose everyone to thier own. Better in Spain than claiming benefits in the uk
Benidorm was the 1st holidays I used to go on , I remember as a kid a woman tried to get me in her room, I wish I didn’t run away but there was a man with her, I run away but I could tell what she wanted
@@hogwashmcturnip8930Yes, and loads voted to leave. Morons! Dislike the Immigrants in the UK, when they live in Spain. Yet don't acknowledge they're also immigrants in Spain. Nor do they bother to learn the language. Pot and kettle 😂 Lots of them didn't register their presence, until it was too late. Or not at all. They didn't pay the required Taxes, all their time in Spain. Preferring to live 'under the radar' as 'holidaymakers', when they actually resided there. They didn't fulfil the Brexit leaving requirements, of EVERY EU COUNTRY, and had to leave. As a Brit, living in Europe ( not Spain) I know what they had to do. Lots of paperwork was required, if they wanted Permanent Residency. When told they had to leave, the ever arrogant Brits even tried to sue the EU!! Now these Brexiteers are living their 'best lives', in post Brexit Britain 😉😂😂
I love these people. Hard working, just trying to get by. Good old Northern souls....(I'm from South of England 🇬🇧)..... ❤ although anyone else getting Joe Orton/Ken Halliwell vibes with Dusty Crack and his boyfriend? 😊
When this was filmed you could live like Royalty on £100 a month. Not counting utility bills, but most of them have no mortgage and utility bills are lower. Council tax, road tax, car insurance MOTs, Everything is cheaper than UK. Even now. For instance I rent a fully furnished 2 bed 2 bath flat with a sea view one way, and mountains the other. I have allocated parking in the communal garage and use of the communal pool for350 euros a month. That is 299.18 of your English pounds. You cannot rent a broom cupboard for that in the UK. So 100 euros does not make them Mean. They probably eat out a lot on that too. When you can get salad, 3 courses, wine, bread and a coffee for 12 euros, it isn't hard to do.. At the time this was filmed it was probably around 8 or9.
@@hogwashmcturnip8930 that’s really interesting, you’d think they would be against Brexit considering it would make their lives easier. Cheers for the perspective.
Well I know where I will never be traveling to even if it was the last place left on earth. The reasons are all in this video, which is basically a 30 min commercial for the transgender movement.
31:22 Ye Gods, 1 EROS ? .....never mind speaking Spanish they can't even spell the word Euros here.....perhaps they were thinking of the Greek God Eros 😅 I think I would prefer somewhere with a bit more class than Benidorm - like Barcelona .......
Totally agree...love these shows but being gay is shoved down your face..i couldn't give a flying f*ck about peoples sexual orientation...but it seems being homosexual is an excuse to be an arse here
Its never for local children is it? Or rarely for local hospital. I have seen Spanish people offended by collecting money for old donkeys, while children suffer nearby.
@@Surv1ve_Thrive Actually there is one here that does brilliant work for the local community. They work with the local church to provide food and clothing for the destitute ,make sure every poor kid gets at least one present at Christmas, have bought hospital equipment and installed air con in a mostly Muslim school in a very poor barrio. As for those much maligned dokey/horse ones, the one here works with the local schools for disabled/learning difficulties, provided riding for the disabled, has hands on experiences for disadvantaged kids and so on. It could be argued that if the Spanish didn't dump their animals in the skips or let them loose in the Campo, and got them spayed, the Brits would not have to step in to try and give them a chance. Care to tell me why an old donkey, which has probably had an awful life is of less worth than the owner who abandoned it when it outlived it usefulness?
More episodes please Binge! I’d rather sit down and have a beer with these people than any posh bunch.
Love this series so much, thanks BINGE

My favourite programme. Thank you to the production team for putting together such good content. Cheers from Durban, South Africa.👏👏👏👏🙏🙏

Surely the saying British are dog lovers is a misnomer? How many abandon their beloved pets when they leave?
Been binging this since you passed episode one! Keep them coming! Watching in Taiwan
I like the look of the sea and sandy beach. But 2,000 bars/ pubs, to me is a nightmare! I like the white doves there.
"Una paloma blanca"
you don't have to go in them they are there for other people..
To live in Spain and say how much you love it there, learn the language. It’s disrespectful not to. Kudos to Mark and Graham.
Plus you know they all voted for Brexit even though it screwed them over.
To live in the UK, learn English!

Same as Muslims in the UK
This makes me so relieved I don't live in 'England in the sun.' How about showing Spanish nightlife, after all you are in Spain.
I wish they'd show the darker side of Benidorm ... Never been but I'm sure there must be a lot of drugs / drunks fighting in the street etc?
