As an Australian, but more so a fan of cricket, you have to feel for a player of this caliber being stranded in a deep sea of mediocrity that is the England team. If help doesn’t come soon, Joe root will go down as a player like Allan Border who was a classy run scorer but never had enough help to be a big winner.
