Dude, your channel rules! Seems like every other channel is recommending the same 30 games but you’re truly showcasing some hidden gems. Appreciate your work!
I know a game that I think would be great for this series: Nimbus. It's an older Steam indie game (came out in 2010) but I think it really holds up, and in fact it's one of my favorite hidden gems on the platform. Basically it's a precision/puzzle 2D platformer but rather than running and jumping you control a gliding ship that cannot accelerate and must use gravity and various stage elements to get momentum in order to finish each level. Even after 14 years it has less than 200 reviews but over 90% positive ratings, I'd really like to see it get some more attention!
Probably worth calling out that on Steam, a game isn't eligible for "overwhelmingly positive" review status until it hits 500 reviews. Just in case people are like "if these are so good, why don't the review scores reflect that?"
Even though most of the games aren't for me, I can't deny that I love the look of these games and the uniqueness of them. They have great artwork and it not being 60+ hours long is nice.
I'm seeing Magenta Horizon on here, please let Clash: Artifacts of Chaos, Soulstice and Cookie Cutter be on here as well... After watching this: So many games i haven't even heard of. Very deep cuts.
Gotta say, first 3 were instant wishlists for me. I see at least 2 had demos too so I'll give them a spin here soon. Great video! Even if I didn't care enough about the rest of the ones, I could see the appeal for others. Got yourself a subscriber in me
Skator Gator, finally one that I own! Found this during the Next Fest, as a fan of throwback platformers like Toree and Lunistice, Greenjamin and his rad shredding fit perfectly in my collection of "$5 games that punch far above theit weight."
@@CABROWN I'm the same. I have a policy that when a game is $5 or under, there's no need to wait. It's even better when a game goes on sale AND under the $5 mark
Gyilt may seem for kids, but as usually with Tequla Works, it's not what it seems. The main theme is a good moral lesson for kids though, and the monsters design is quite cartoonish, which makes it kids friendly, but the ending (2 options) is tough. And Rime, another amazing game by Tequila Works, it's another example of a game that can be played by kids, but holy sht the ending... It left me depressed for an entire week.
I don't play all of them, I have played a ton and speak from that perspective when that is the case, but I just want to highlight everything of note that I find regardless of if I've gotten to them yet myself just to try to be as helpful as possible.
So I missed the last one, and I think its because all the youtube thumbnails kinda look the same. Maybe if they had different colours I would more obviously see that oh this one is new
Yeah good tip, I've been trying to figure out the balance of making it obvious it's part of this series for returning viewers and finding a way to make them unique.
If you've bought Skyrim then I highly reccomend Enderal. It's free on Steam (but you need Skyrim). It's a total conversion that is basically a new game that is amazing.

Appreciate your work!
Respect for digging up *actually* lesser known games.
Thanks so much for featuring Magenta Horizon!!

I LOVED Splatter. I'm always looking for weird, obscure gems and that was one of my favorite finds.
This is such a fantastic series. Every video I add a bunch of games to my steam wishlist
Love that you're bringing attention to these lesser known indie gems!
I rarely comment on yt but I have to say you're doing an amazing job recommending actual hidden gems. Keep it up
Great video. I'm pretty deep into the indiesphere and have never heard of any of these. Insanely deep cuts.

Your selection of games are actually unknown indie games. You have really put in the work. Well done!
Even though most of the games aren't for me, I can't deny that I love the look of these games and the uniqueness of them. They have great artwork and it not being 60+ hours long is nice.
Been binging your videos. I love how you'll suggest games even if you were so so on them but think someone else will like them.
I'm seeing Magenta Horizon on here, please let Clash: Artifacts of Chaos, Soulstice and Cookie Cutter be on here as well...

You'd be hard pressed to find another series like this one. Awesome vid!
Your videos are top-notch quality and you obviously put a lot of work into finding real hidden gems! I’m definitely taking a look at a few of these!
I found Ufouria: The Saga 2. 65 reviews and released in February. Incredible game! Give it more love!
Great work! I hope you never stop coming out with these, I love discovering new indie games.
More to come!

another banger. I still haven't finished the last 137 games you recommended
This channel is underrated great video
You really did it. You actually suggested awesome games I'd never heard of before!
Pangolin cassowary is also made by the same entity that made Subterranean Losers, a series of short animations on RUclips.
Skator Gator, finally one that I own! Found this during the Next Fest, as a fan of throwback platformers like Toree and Lunistice, Greenjamin and his rad shredding fit perfectly in my collection of "$5 games that punch far above theit weight."
These games all looked amazing and I haven’t heard of any of them yet! Another great video thanks for the work 🙏

Your content is seriously good, seriously authentic to your taste in games. You got good taste.
WHY DO KEEP HURTING MY WALLET WITH ALL THESE VIDEOS?!?!?!
(real talk, always excites me when I see you put out something new)
wishlisting is key, I have over 600 games on my wishlist, it's all about waiting for deals and bundles.
@@CABROWN I'm the same. I have a policy that when a game is $5 or under, there's no need to wait. It's even better when a game goes on sale AND under the $5 mark
Great work. I've discovered many games I didn't know existed thanks to you.
Love this series! Great work mate.
Glad Skator Gator 3D is getting more attention
Really thought Gylt was more well known. Surprised to find out that it still has less than 1000 reviews.
Please look into the game Wildfire! The art is gorgeous, the game play is super fluid and fun and it is seriously underrated!!!
This channel feels like those infomercials that would air on TV except that you're not trying to sell me useless junk.
Stop! My wallet! You're a monster! (Don't stop. We love you.)
As usual, top tier content.
Magenta Horizon often available for cheap in Fanatical bundles
but youre supposed to talk about balatro like every other guy who talks about underrated indies!! /s
amazing video w actually good recommendations :D
Please mention Coin Crypt in your next video. It is an amazing roguelike deckbuilder from the developer of Wandersong released in 2014.
Milk that cow, dude, I love this milk
Skater Gator seems dope

Great as always, thanks
You missed "The Void Project"
Another great video!
Thank you ❤
Nice
just wondering do you play all these games?
I don't play all of them, I have played a ton and speak from that perspective when that is the case, but I just want to highlight everything of note that I find regardless of if I've gotten to them yet myself just to try to be as helpful as possible.
@@CABROWN seems fair i imagine only people with Bezos money are able to buy that many games
Noreya felt very clunky to me
I'm curious could you explain why?
