Every time I see one of your amazing models doing such great work, It blows me away to think this is a Lego machine here? Very well done again! You should have a step by step Lego making plan available as a PDF for your fans to make it too? With a listing of the Lego needed and motors etc.. Just so clever. :)
Hi Colin, thank you for the comment. I have tried to make videos on how to build and decided not to do it anymore. It takes a lot of effort and not a lot of traffic in comparison to other videos. When it comes to building custom sets, there are so many parts from different sets so it will scare people away when they see how many things they will need and some sets are retired. if somebody will try to find parts on the bricklink it will break the budget. And at the end these projects are very complicated even for me. I wish I can share how many times I was ready to give up when some of my ideas do not work... Thank you for asking. I hope you will understand me.
Happy to see the comment from the Lego Technic Mastery . love your channel. I am very impressed with your knowledge of the car elements and creativity.
LOL, it is true, there is a lot ideas in my head, i wish to have more time to build them. Thanks for you support Nelson. Always happy to see your comment.

of course lego wins again and you have inspired me todo some things like this on my own and since it is spring it will be a chance to do things like this
By the time I have finished the filming you should see my hands, it was messy, preparing the topsoil was an exercise on its own. Thanks for your support.
Oh. I was lucky as we had 7 days of heat +30. so no mosquitoes. But it was so hot. I had to wait until the sun goes down . That gave me only 2 hours to film .
I have tried to build videos to show how to build- very little success and a lot of time to do. Because of the custom creations it will take my time away from the new projects.
Wow, it is so good to see still with me and watching new videos! Somebody asked why I do not have 100K subscribers, my answer- I need 41K like you and life is good!. Special thank you for your support, it means so much for me.
You know how it works in my place. I wish to have more parts to build the new project and keep an old ones. This time I actually plan to reuse the platform for the new model. Hope I can do it. Thank you for the support .
*Irrigation system pipe layer?* This machine is useful for that initial bit of water, but you will need to set up some automated way to deliver water to the plants after that. So maybe a machine to lay some pipes.
It was a bit expensive, You got you feeling right . I had to buy 8 wheels and extra hydraulic. Luckily I have borrowed 2 Mindstorm motors from my friend and made cable adapters by myself. It took the most of my efforts to figure out how to squeeze all these parts into one package.
I was always taught to loosen up the root cluster in the bottom of pre-potted plants when transplanting to ease their transition. Was this sacrificed because of machine complexity, or is this not necessary with these plants?
Excellent question. My initial approach was to take the flow out of the plastic form and work with it. Du4ing testing it was clear that every flower hade different degree of root density and soil moisture. It made it almost impossible to hold the root using Lego elements. Simply Lego will apply too much pressure in order to hold it. So the solution was to use some sort of cage, ideally from a material that will dissolves over time. I have made a cage from a plastic net for this video. Thank you for asking.
Hi Ross, good question. I found the Mindstorm brick is too big for this project. I have made 4 custom cables and joined EV3 and PF connectors. I control them using 3 BuWizz bricks.
It is controlled by Buwizz I used 3 bricks in this project. Mindstorm is too big and only allow for 4 motors. I used the 12 motors . Thank you for asking.
The Brick Wall I am gonna get some power functions soon including my second ever motor, I'm considering the XL and L motor. Which do you think is better? Ps. Your awesome.
Excellent question, I like L motors a lot as they are smaller in size and have more options to mount. XL will work if you have space and need a lot of power. Good luck with your choice.
I have some questions: (click 'read more') 1. Who came up with this way of drive and steering system? 2. How did you drive the mindstorms large motors? 3. Where did you get the plants? 4. How did you make the water dispensing system?
Great questions: 1. Who came up with this way of drive and steering system? My initial plan was to build a model of the tractor manufactured in France, Vernande. Due to some technical limitation the tractor model is still in the plan, but the idea of steering and drive system materialized in Lego Garden Machine. 2. How did you drive the mindstorms large motors? I have made a custom connector from Mindstorm to Lego PF, to my surprise it was so easy and I wonder why it is not made commercially so far. 3. Where did you get the plants? From the local hardware store. 4. How did you make the water dispensing system? This was easy, I have reuse the idea from my previous project. An empty bottle from acrylic paint was perfect for the water tank. Thank you, let me know if you plan to use my answers for any publication, always good to read.

The Brick Wall your welcome
I really just love your builds. I do really wish you would make instructions so we could build, and use these creations for ourselves.
I have tried to build videos to show how to build- very little success and a lot of time to do. Because of the custom creations it will take my time away from the new projects.

Which wheels are you using and where can I buy it?
The wheels are for the Lego BMW set 42063. I have ordered the wheels from Lego website. where is a page for ordering parts.
Do you know how I could make a robot with mindstorms that looks for dandelions and harvests them?
How did you power the Mindstorms motors? I don't see that p-brick...
Hi Ross, good question. I found the Mindstorm brick is too big for this project. I have made 4 custom cables and joined EV3 and PF connectors. I control them using 3 BuWizz bricks.
NANI!? How on earth did you manage to automate the entire process?
I have no idea, it was not easy. Thanks for the comment
