This is my first set as well. Your instructions are very clear and easy to follow. These make great gifts for birthdays, Mothers day, get well gifts, and Valentine's Day ( unique gift) flowers that dont die. I absolutely love this. Thank you so much for the time you put into this tutorial. I truly appreciate it and will be following for more great ideas🙏❤️
God Bless you ‼️ I've just accomplished my first coaster yesterday and second one today. You are easy to follow. These are the cutest 💜 Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. So much.
I have already made the coasters using a different pattern but they are close to the same. I can still do this with them. You are very creative and talented. Thank you. ✌🏻💟😁🧶🇺🇸
thank you so much for your tutorials. I just made this as a beginner and it took me two days. i love the results and i’m just so grateful for the step by step tutorial
Absolutely love your pattern here! 🥰 I have decided to make these for my sisters for Christmas next year! I probably have told you this already but, you sure do wonderful and beautiful work! There are so many of your patterns that I want to make! Thank you so much! 💖
Hello…simply love your tutorials… been following your crochet works…its amazing I must say… thank you for sharing the tutorials and looking ahead to more of it… much love😊🩷
Thank you so much, only I went and made the basket 1st because I thought there's no way I can make it, but I DID!! Can't thank you enough! Now to start the coasters ...😂🫶
Hello my costers have come out very well. But I am confused regarding the basket is it necessary to use double wool as you have used. Thank you so much❤
So helpful! I’ve a question though, id like to alternate the colour of each of the flower petals on one coaster. Can I just close the stitch by doing a slip stitch and re start with another flower of a different colour ?? And also, can I use acrylic wool instead of cotton?
@@gracesv7381 thank you!!Yes you could close the stitch after each flower, or if you know how to work with two yarns and carry the unused yarn under the stitches you could avoid the hassle of stitching in lot of tail yarns. Also cotton is the suggested yarn since it holds its shape better and also for its heat resistance properties as a coaster. But if you have acrylic yarn don’t stop yourself and go ahead. Hope this helps😊
I just discovered your tutorial. Am making the basket first. It’s almost done!! I used nylon thread and it’s turning out quite nice. I like that it is durable and can be hand washed if need to be. Thanks for the cute flowers too. I will be making lots of them.
Thank you so very much, here is the next video which is a similar succulent plant coasters. Hope you like this as well. ruclips.net/video/aWEBLyC4ado/видео.html
I don't know, the math isn't mathing. When I go to mark the stitches for the basket handles, you say 18th st, then 7th after that, then 18 more, then 7 more. But that equals 50st and we only have 48.
I saw something very similar where they put in a crochet pot 3 of these coasters, is it possible? (Like two regular on top of each other and the third folded in the middle). If so, is the basket big enough?
This is such a great tutorial of cute coasters. I was wondering. If I want to use two different yellow flowers on one coaster (every other flower changes), when should I switch colors since we make stitches between the flowers, too? I'm not sure if that will mess everything up. Thanks!
Thank you so much. I think it would look lovely if you could do that, what I can think of is to make 1 flower of one color, carry the yarn along and make the next flower of the other color, carry this yarn as well. And repeat this till you have flowers of alternate colors. To carry the yarn u can have the carrying yarn under your stitches. Hope this makes sense. 😊
@MakeItYourselfByPapari I think that makes sense. I am pretty new to crochet. Does it mean I wouldn't keep cutting one color and switching. I would just keep both colors attached. Is that right? Hiding the color I am not using and alternating?
Ive tried making this basket 5 different times and my stiches come out wrong everytime. Im following it step by step but the chain ones and the increases are messing me up id love if youd pause and count the chains after every row and also showing which stitch to go in on the beginning of each row wirhout your thumb in the way 😭 i did the succulent no problem but this is just not happening for me
Really sorry to hear that, I will try to follow your suggestions in my coming tutorials. For this tutorial if any specific row, you are having doubts you can let me know, will try to help. Also the captions will have the details on stitch count, so do check the out as well. I will publish a written pattern for this soon, hope that will be helpful. Thanks for the feedback. 😊💕
Try making the entire coasters with the flowers, they weight of the flowers will make it lie flat. Also try using cotton yarn for the project. Finally if it still does not work, block it using a stiffening spray. Hope these suggestions help.

super easy to make and very beautiful!!!😍💕🙏 Greetings to you from Costa Rica!!!❤
I think you can keep the stitches a bit tight and use a stiffening spray once done to hold the shape better. Also cotton yarn works better than acrylic. Hope this helps.
Hi. Lovely video. I made the coaster easily but the basket I could not. I will try once again. I miss on the count and my beginnings get wrong. I will send the pic of the coaster on instagram.
For the basket are you using two strands of worsted weight yarn? It would be helpful if you explained the weight of yarn and that you would be using two strands instead of one.
The written instructions are covering what you are doing in the video. I suggest make the written instructions in one line per frame so that the tutorial will be fully seen

You can change the yarn used for the coasters to cotton size 3/2 yarn, that will fit 3 coasters I think.

I agree, also battling with basket. I understand getting to 48 STS, but doesn't work out. 😢
Had the same issue also 😅 the basket is turning me batty haha
I’m not quite sure what I’m doing wrong but my circle won’t lay flat. I’ve used a bigger hope and it’s still not flat.

I think I'm having a bit of trouble making this, my basket is still quite flat and it wont exactly form the basket shape?
I think you can keep the stitches a bit tight and use a stiffening spray once done to hold the shape better. Also cotton yarn works better than acrylic. Hope this helps.
How many ply are the yarns used for this?
