Hi, what would u suggest to try to make a WK-181 gen 2 reliable?
You can replace certain parts and pieces but most ppl run it straight out of the box
If this upper had a non-reciprocating charging handle like the new Gen2’s it would be PERFECT. Sooo close

I enjoyed the video, and have had great service from TNA. The item noticed on the upgrade was the oilite bronze bushing, to myself the fit seemed it needed to be more of an interference fit rather than being so easy to just drop in, I could be wrong just my first impression.

Where can I get one of these. I'm just really interested in the charging handle. Because my WK has the regular charging handle and it's a pain in the ass because I feel like it's always going to unscrew. Where can I get this so I can get this aftermarket charging handle?

I looked on TNA site, and only found the upgrade kit from gen 1 to gen 2 which include the new upper, bolt carrier and charging handle. Is that the one you’re talking about or do you have a direct link to purchase what you’ve got. Sure wouldn’t mind the dust cover.

Nice vid, You know what, the barrel nut on my brand new WK180 is stuck and have all the tools but frigg man, can't get it off !! Anyone else try ? I guess i'll bring it to a gun smith for this mod.

There are definitely enough parts out there to build your own. I know several people who have done it off new Spec or Lynx receivers.

Just got one of these guns today, I was looking for one of these uppers but saw they were put of stock. Hope they'll make a new batch before I have any issues with the stock parts

@@CanadianCaliber alright, thank you! i had a new question today too: i notice the recoil buffer is what holds the lower and upper receiver together, and with the stock parts there's a little play giving it a wiggly feel. does the receiver upgrade make it a tighter fit?

I own this cool tactical black metal rifle but I see no reason for doing that particular upgrade!
Cool upgrades: KD 18" handguard and the Magpul M-LOK vertical grip!
Vortex Crossfire II red dot and 10-round LAR-15 mags.
No need for any other upgrades!

At 3:06 how did you get that piece you’re screwing back on off? Does it need to be in a vice or what?
Yes. Preferably in a vice and then remove the but with a wrench
its a shame the brass deflector isnt a nice design like the AR-15's looks like it would catch on stuff easy and is just not an aesthetically pleasing looking design. also the dust cover doesnt fit great, you can see big openings on wither side closer to hinge pin. its a real shame, I was going to buy one till i saw it in person. TNA you can deff do better.

Great video! How do you modify the pin for the dust cover? As stated in the video, if you have the stock barrel cover it wont fit with the dust cover pin. Do they sell shorter pins or do we have to cut them to shape ourselves?
Yes cut them to size as shown in the video. Make sure you watch the entire video

No dont think it is
charging handle needs to be NO TOOL REQUIRED. Like a Benelli M4. everything else, sure- minus that huge brass deflector.

How is the charging side looking like? Can dust/snow still get in?
It's not ours, but we are sure if you are running it in the winter or dusty environment it will still attract some debris but nonetheless it will help
