thanks for the detailed information. i don't think it will burn down after the updates, but it could possibly degenerate over time. do you think this is a basic weakness of the chip or something you can fix with agesa updates. I now also have the 13900k here and am not sure which one to use. I bought the 7800 to run it with at least 2x32 at 6000mhz. doesn't sound to me like you could use it for the next 5 years without any problems. I still have 3 days to withdraw from the purchase, it's difficult to make a decision

It's just overvolting by the asus mobo. Just dont buy asus mobo.
