Kiss first tour of Australia was unmasked tour that’s why we love it so much…..I was there for the Sydney concert 1980 I was 14…..I was also at this concert I was 58 …..the greatest band in the world
One thing that makes me wonder about this: so it’s pretty well known that Paul plays the lead on the studio version of this, and did the same when they played this touring Australia in 1980. But since then, it’s been Tommy playing the lead, and I wonder why. I get that Paul is “the rhythm guitarist”, but I think it would’ve been cool if he took the lead for this one song. Oh well, wasn’t meant to be.
@@thefonzkiss If he had wanted, he could’ve had Tommy play the acoustic. But yeah, wouldn’t shock me if the instruments were also tracks like his vocals were.
No KISS song has ever resonated with me as much as Shandi does. I am so grateful I got to experience this concert experience.
So do I. What a fantastic concert. A magic night.
YES !!! GREAT SONG GREAT BAND !!! GREAT NITE IN DOWNTOWN SYDNEY!!!!! WOW THANKS KISS!!!!!!!!❤
I loved this song so much on my first listen that I named my 2nd daughter, Shandi...🎉
I'm really happy the band play this song!!

I wish they would play Shandi in America. I love that song.
Me too! Shandi is in my top ten Kiss songs.
Great one by the Synchchild
Awesome. I am old enough to remember when this song was released.
Me too. It seems like yesterday but I think it was around 1980. I was in school at that time.
Paul is irresistible. He melts my heart ❤️ ❤❤

Shandy is beer with lemonade
YES BACK IN THE 60 ,s
Sounds like a backing track
Yes, it is
Paul actually used tracks on end of the road tour
❤
This one’s called Shandi, roll the tape!!
Unfortunately, it’s more like “…the hottest band in the world, KISS!”…. roll tape.
The Last Kiss.
Paul's voice has deteriorated so much they've had to pitch this one down considerably. I get that he's in his 70's now but yikes.

How’s he going to play the lead on an acoustic? It’s likely on track like the vocal anyway.

A whole step lower than the original...
WELL IT IS OCTOBER CANT YOU TELL
Man it was time this band hanged their guitar…. They are out of voice!!!!
Frehley never could have played this😂
You know Ace was the one that wrote it right? LMAO. Tommy butchered this
@@TysenAKAPville FREHLEY COULD NEVER PLAY THIS 😂LOL!!!! NOT EVEN NEXT YEAR !!!!!
@@TysenAKAPville You're incorrect about the writing. Paul wrote it with Vinnie Poncia. But you're absolutely correct about Tommy butchering it.
Here's a version with Ace. And it destroys the hack job Tommy did.

Frehley played it on the Australian 1980 tour, and actually quite well. I was surprised myself
This is called a piss break in the states.
