A 1938 Packard Super Eight, it was originally custom built for a previous President of Argentina. Found decades later, allegedly in a pig pen, it was restored by a private collector over many years. After the collector died, his widow sold the car. I do not know its present exact location. I will say I last saw it advertised within the last 15 years with the price listed as "Inquire," by a dealer that usually uses that term to indicate that the price is over one million US dollars. Why do you think Peron even came to power? How many coups? They literally had military coups in 1930 & 1943- prior to Peron & then 1955, 1962, 1966 & 1976, after Peron. Argentina was a politically violent place throughout the 20th century & even before the world knew of a bejewelled blonde named Evita. Does the "infamous decade"of the 1930's ring a bell? How about the murderous leaders that took over AFTER Peron. Fact is Eva Peron is the most famous First Lady & political leader to come out of that country outside of Che Guevara so they always shine the spotlight on the first Peronist period while ignoring the chaos, the corruption, the civil unrest, the violence, etc, that plagued Argentina prior to 1945 (it was this unrest that gave rise to Peron) & after 1952. It reminds me of what one of her detractors stated back in the 1940''s/50's: "had we done for the workers a tiny fraction of what Eva has done, there never would have been a Peron & she would still be a bad actress"
