Dude, im 40. Always wanted to get started. A buddy of mine that is doing Deep House has been twisting my arm for TWENTY YEARS finally broke it and got me started. Seeing something like this is a fíng life saver!
Only a person with a good instinct, without fear, without a sense of superiority can share these tuturias. You're big... in sharing and much bigger in the music you make. If you ever think you can help Andikter with a collaboration or something like that, we'll be waiting... We love your continued work.🇵🇹🎹
What I like the most of this video is that it gets one of the essential features of trance. Doesn't matter the melody or the chords under it, or the drums. Just that makes the track identifiable as that genre
7:10 What I like to do is to create a melody on a 4-bar chord progression that repeats three times ... but the fourth time is a different progression. That makes listeners think it's always the same and then it hits hard.
Thanks for making these kind of tutorials. I'm a dj too which may sound quite common in social media :) I've listened to trance music since early 2000s and I love the melodic tunes from Buuren, Corsten, Push, B&J, Rank1, and of course Robert Miles R.I.P.
What you revealed in 15 minutes took me 6 months and two notebooks of graph paper. I remember in the beginning I had a penchant for PVD style plucky Trance, because it was easier to figure out and graph.
Probably the best trance melody tutorial and showcase I've seen, you keep it simple but also show and explain the thoughts process while showing so many different examples on how to do it meaning it gives me more chances to understand how it works, trance is one of the genres I wanna get better at making and learn and I just wanna say, thank you for making these all💙
Man that was by far the best tutorial I did saw so far about that topic. Even Allan morrows stuff can’t come along! Big thanks for sharing this one, I’ll gonna buy ya presets for sure!!!
Hey, just letting you know, this clip helped me save time greatly in my trance production. Rather than reinvent the wheel for each new production, these can serve well as a go to for trance melodies, save them all in one file so they are copy and pasteable.. It's really easy when it's laid out to you in such a helpful, concise manner as in this video. Thanks.! by the way, I'm 48 and still Trance hits home as good as it did 20 years ago.
I always heard your music but never seeing your videos before until this week.. I am starting making music and this is really helpful.. I am going to share some uplifting trance soon 😎👌🏽
Thank you for this will see you on the next one ;) cracking time for me to see this as I started producing again.. melodies have never been my strong point but I have just clicked with a few things which are resulting in some nice sounds but I had always thought an arp was meant for a different part of the track…. After watching this I know for sure where I have been going wrong. Absolute king you are thanks for this! And yes these melodies are stuck in my head I can still hear them right now… 14 minutes was a nice one also. Thanks again and wishing you good health 🙏💚🤝
Hello ReOrder. I just purchased your Vital pack and can't wait to use it. I am currently using Reason 10. I want to also check out your Trance Masterclass. Uplifting Trance is my favorite Trance style. My goal is to write some banger hits. Hope you have a wonderful day! Matt
what is the preset you are using for the arp? is there a package you have for sale or a free download of the preset ( is it for spire or serum ? thanks and awesome Videos by the way.. Really great sounds and your Idea help me alot Thanks
Thanks man, I've only just started getting into Trance, I love it, I love those drops. Sharing with us these key tips is Gold. Thanks so much and subbed.
Somehow I never thought to do 2 of the same note in a row when writing arps. also bigger gaps between them. I'm making UK hardcore, so this translates nicely. Cheers for the vid.
@@reorderdj Don't think you need to be scared 🤣 By the way love your tutorials, they're a really great addon to some of the others I follow, these ones are fun to watch and really practical.
Alright mate, I’m from the UK. Trance has always been my thing. And I’ve always wanted to create uplifting trance because I absolutely love it. Your tutorials are so helpful and I’m now creating tunes myself. I’m trying to get to grips with Diva and Xfer Serum, btw serum is the king for me but if there is something better I’d love to know. Do you always do uplifting trance in A minor? Love your channel mate.
Outstanding content! I’ve been looking for a tutorial like this for years - could you possibly do a follow up on building counter melodies / plucks / pianos and other melodic elements that compliment your main riffs?
This is amazing! Thjank you very much for this amazing and all to the point instructions. Very well done!!! Please try to do Atmos & Texture tutorial as well. I think it is very underestimated in Trance production
I've done these things before but I still wanted to try your first arp with my sounds. To make it cool in another way is to also add the plugin Gatekeeper and reverb on top of that. Not better, just different.
Wow. This was really informative and inspiring. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. I would really appreciate it if you could go through the sound design of this pluck, including the reverb and delay. It sounds huge. ❤
Thank you Tibor!!! Cool video 👍 explained everything very clearly...Genius is in simplicity!!!))) we are waiting for more content from you, it is very pleasant to listen to your lessons!!!🙏🙏🙏🔥🔥🔥
This video is amazing, so informative and easy to follow. You are one of my favorite tutor 👍 It makes me happy when seeing how you enjoy in creating music. You found your purpose in life ❤
I was just watching this to see if I'm doing the right thing with my tunes and wondered how some of these riffs would have gone down with composers from the 17th-18th century, would they have hated it, or would it have blown their minds? I'd like to think it would be the latter...
The biggest monster of a trance riff by far is the well-known "Out Of The Blue" by Ferry Corsten's System F. Every other riff in this style is just baby compared to this one. I won't define myself being a trance musician. I mix several genres. But some arps will always stay part of my own musical style. I always like to surprise the listener. Nothing is as bad as predictable main motif. Nice video. I will leave a subscription here. Let's see what you have in your pocket.
Hi I have a request about uplifting trance production: could you explain ho to create LEAD or PLUCKS or PAD starting from factory setting of a plugin like SPIRE, SERUM or SYLENTH? This should be a part of sound designing; do you usually create your sound or you prefer to use presets already made by somebody else?it should be interesting
Hi I checked your Chanel, yes I saw how to make a lead and it's good: but how can you make something of different from classical sound; I just wanted to see some variation, creating some other kind of sound, playing with waveforms and so on; anyway thank you for all your tutorials @@reorderdj
Thank you so much for this tutorial. Is there a specific relationship between the melody notes and the bass notes that gives trance its sound? For instance you were using C for the melody and A for the bass line. Is the uplifting trance sound centered around thirds? I have trouble establishing that specific sense of yearning trance is able to evoke and I wonder if there is a specific chord/note relationship that produces that. Thanks again for everything!

Them sounds for serum I NEED!!! I am specializing in reviving the nyc trance like Webster hall and techno ( Tech - Trance )

C is a second note in A minor so it naturally fits. But you can use any note in the scale. It’s all about combinations, taste and simplicity;)
