It’s really good if your spawn house has lucky book spawns good way to get a chunk of reading done early on + if you have carpentry/fishing/cooking books you can utalize the life and living shows to level up your skills immensely. Very hard trait but I pick it occasionally for the points.
Honestly, this traitt really pushes you to use some of the more careful approaches for the first week. Slow, tedious, but dang once you get past the hurdle it pays off due to the sheer number of points it gives you.
4:32 i believe this is just a bug really annoying one but if it is because the door is open devs will probably add a model of the car door being open eventually 6:31 spiffo plushes can spawn in spiffo restaurants but its an extremely low chance, you can find them in toy stores and while foraging and i have seen them spawn in crates in some homes
I have a character that im playing with dynamic traits and more traits - dynamic. Started with burn ward, anemic, feeble, unfit, very underweight (modifed settings so that xp need from levels 6-10 is similar to levels 1-5 so i can actually get strong and fit over time), plus a myriad of other negative traits, but gave him a bunch of unobtainable or very difficult to get traits that are really good I also had 1 point in like every stat for the XP boost except melee weapons. At the start he was so weak that if I took off the bandage on his neck it would take almost half his health bar, and leaving dirty bandages on would kill him eventually even without infection. I sterilized all my bandages using hot water and spent like 5 days inside watching TV and replacing bandages religiously. As of now I'm like 20 days in, 4 strength and fitness, and have an actual base. Its going quite well.
My current best playthrough was actually with a character that became an amputee using the "The Only Cure" mod; lost my left arm to a bite; still surviving I think three months into the Zomboid Apocalypse. And mod also came with crafting prosthetics (which took way too long for me to find the book/supplies), so now largely functional.
Using this burnt trait is even better if you use it along with broken leg, injured and slow healer, it took me 7 game days to heal completely, you get a lot of points but not being able to start any kind of fire is a serious problem xD
"All my homies hate West Point." I spent 19 weeks when I joined the army in West Point for basic training and scout school. You're right, I do hate West Point. Also the only parade I saw there in that whole time was a Klan rally (outside the base), it was really weird.

Burn ward is a test of patience. Minimum of 2 ingame days before your character starts being playable. I hope you got something ready to pass time.

"Fear of fire" makes this trait useless now. cant ever start a fire including camp fires and lighting BBQ's

I’ve only ever found one spiffo plush (in a total 310 hours) in a storage unit.
@4:19 This is a bug, a bug that may drive you mad. The door is open but the game has no animation for it in the vanilla version.
