I always love the communication you have going in your kitchen. When you order refills, you make them short and clear and then your team brings it in or tells you how long they need... That is the reason you and your team are perfect. I also love the idea of the wrapping paper having 3 different dishes you can use them for. It saves lots of paper and storage space...
I worked for McDonald's for two years as a cook - no matter what anyone says, I learned a lot how to handle food and try to make people happy. I really did.
@@bluejay713 Agreed, Bluejay. We all get screwed by retail and fast food sometimes, but that doesn't mean the people behind the counter don't care. Most of the time, we do care, but sometimes crap happens. We are people just like the customer in front of the counter. One difference that people don't realize - when you go to a restaurant, it may be once or twice a day. The worker at a retail or restaurant establishment sees hundreds or thousands of customers in a single day. That is a lot of room for error.
At 65 these videos has changed the way I feel about McDonald's. The cleanliness, organization.I'm just amazed how the line is set up and makes all this happen. Sadly McDonald's get picked on about their quality of food, but what I see in this channel the food looks amazing and it is!! Thank you for sharing and Happy New Year.
Yeah they were my favorite breakfast I always get at McDonald's and I remember I got the big breakfast on my birthday when I turn 12 in August and my birthday was like on the 25th @@BrandiBalls
What i love the most about you is that you are a manager and you dont need to be doing any of this, but still you dont mind putting in a shift when its needed. That is extremely respectable and if you were my boss you would have no idea how much i would appericiate this. This is the proper way to manage.
I had only one manager who would actually work alongside us, especially on the days when I was the only person in the kitchen. She's the only person who I still talk to after I left McDonald’s.
happy youre making videos again! would love to see more of you cooking stuff and fries are a classic but table footage is also great and i know its your strength
When i worked for McDonalds back in the mid 90s, the burritos were freshly made. Now I think they just make them and reheat them. Same thing with the hotcakes and the folded egg. Those were made fresh everyday. The intoxicating aroma of freshly made hotcakes.......man oh man. Now they are horrible. But I think it's cool that some McDonalds make their biscuits fresh every day. We never had biscuits and gravy.
Also, the pies were deep fried, not baked. And they had triple thick shakes, with a different special flavor of shake every month. Miss the eggnog shakes. They also had an Arctic Orange shake.
I took a commentators suggestion from a previous post and ordered my bagel with extra breakfast sauce. It was about the messiest thing I ever ate, but it sure was good.
Heyo and happy new year dude! I've got just one suggestion for a vid which has been mentioned before - Last year I spent my summer working at McDonalds and the only things I wasn't able to get experienced with were the night shift tasks: fryer filtration, overall cleaning & setup for things such as making sure there's cut tomatoes and ready onions/pickles for the day shift. If you ever get around to making a fryer filtration vid I'll be very happy because it will both satiate my curiosity and also be a fun vid to watch while reminiscing about my time spent working for the company haha While my particular restaurant didn't offer the items shown in this vid, it's still awesome to see better communication & speed compared to what I had to deal with in reality! I'll never forget the time I had to be solo kitchen (BOP, grill, burger assembly) all at once when we were just 2 colleagues for the shift (temporarily of course, until the better workers arrived) and the other coworker had to go on break. As much as I disliked the job, if the same manager was at my workplace I'd come back but lately I've heard news about a new, stricter manager and I don't feel as confident about returning :/
Desde que veo tus videos mi trabajo lo hago más divertido... esta muy sistematizado todo lo cual lo hace ver "fácil ". Me encanta. Saludos desde México 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
I used to love the egg mcmuffins until I started doing it myself at home. putting butter on the muffin, using good Canadian bacon and using salt and pepper and slightly scrambling the egg, not fully, then poaching in microwave makes a superb egg muffin sandwich. I use Bays English muffins, think Micd's uses Sara Lee maybe. If your on the go and want it quick, McD's is a good choice on the go.
This is making me want to try the bagel now lol. I've had my fair share of biscuits and McMuffins, but the burritos were a childhood classic. Pair it with a mango pineapple smoothie, and that was my go to as a kid.
@StephenPatula We always had our little chart on the wall that told us how many napkins and condiments to give with each value meal/sandwich. And we didn't have the automatic drink maker. How much harder is it with the addition of doing the McCafe drinks? Plus the computers look difficult to place orders in compared to the old ones. And bring back the Arxh Deluxe
Have to ask, what's with the bacon stinginess? It looks like shriveled husk. In Australia, they use short cut bacon, so nice big slices of bacon, with at least 2 pieces per muffin.
Happy New Year! How are the McGriddles made? Are they just warmed up? Can you show the process you use to receive a delivery of food from the McDonald's truck? How do you know how much food to order?
I love the bacon and cheese biscuit, NO EGG. Just too expensive for what they are sadly, but they're still good. Steak Bagel is good too provided the store you go to doesn't over toast the bagels. Breakfast sauce def makes it all good.
Took until 11:50 to scrap that runt egg fold.... why so long?.... I love the Big Breakfast surprised more aren't going out. Pretty surprised how many sausage burritos go out
On the grill side of the table today. That’s different. I don’t think I’ve ever heard the quarter-pounder cowbell during breakfast. What does that mean?
My good friend Josh showed me this breakfast sandwich and its God tier! Chicken McMuffin sandwich, add bacon and an egg round. Veggies aren't in the OG order but they do add nicely to the sandwich. Next order two hashbrowns, slap one on the sandwich, muck the other one, bam! Best breaky sandwich ever imo. It slaps, trust. Only way it could be better is if they offered biscuits but they sadly don't in Ontario, Canada :(
my good sir your inserts should be in the flat insert tray. they fit perfectly in the uhc. you grab one insert tray out of the steam cabinet and then you have 3 inserts in the uhc instead of just the two. hope this helps.
I work at McDonald's..when you make your sandwiches, place the bottom on the sandwich it's meant to be. Saves a step from having to top them move it and then wrap it...steps save time😊
The cabinets are on they are the new style with a touchscreen at the top instead of having buttons along each of the shelf’s it’s all kept up at the top.
Do customers ever ask to have their sandwiches cut in half? I've never seen you do that. I worked at a different fast food chain with a similar menu for a couple of years in the early 90s, and that happened often enough to still be memorable.
If you ever want to make the person working at McDonald's mad, order a McDouble extra cheese. And when they say "so a double cheeseburger"... Reply with "no, a McDouble extra cheese".
I’ve always been curious, why do you always upload your videos in 1440p60 instead of 4K60? Is it due to file size, upload times, or perhaps something about viewer accessibility? I’d love to hear your answer on this choice, as it’s something I’ve wondered about for a while.
Sad what of all those breakfsat items they have left over on the menu in Germany. Almost nothing of those. There are a few other items of course not available in the US, but comapring the breakfast menu today with from a few years ago, not sure what to go to McDonalds to for breakfast except maybe a coffee.

It's going to vary by location and the person making it. This guy owns the restaurant so he will put more effort in
Not every mcdonalds is the same.
@delibakerytravel McDonald's chicken nuggets are delicious.
unfortunately most of Mcdonald's establishments are infinitely worse than this one. They should all be like this but most aren't
it's amazing how few people order the big breakfast or the big breakfast with hotcakes...they're both amazing
The big breakfast with hotcakes is a sausage egg biscuit meal with pancakes and syrup. The scrambled vs folded egg size is minimal.
Right! That's always my go to for/when i get breakfast here and they always sound so shocked when i say it. Fluffy eggs are my faveeee

I love watching these videos, the precision, the communication. Its great.
Happy New Year, Stephen.

Oh i Love MC Breakfast
I took a commentators suggestion from a previous post and ordered my bagel with extra breakfast sauce. It was about the messiest thing I ever ate, but it sure was good.
I ask for the sauce on the side and dip it.
Only way to eat a bagel is with extra sauce. Smart choice
I always get mine with extra but now I'm gonna ask for it on the side to dip!
I don't know why this is so calming to watch 😅. I used to work at McDonald's 23 years ago 😳.

That depends on local county and state health codes. Certain health departments are more strict than others
@thedoghouse4203 actually, McDonald's corporate requires it. It's one of their regulations
