Question: when you get water in your ear when swimming where does it go in the ear? Why is it so hard to get out? Why does it come out warm? Thank you so much for all your videos.
People think candling pulls the earwax out of the ear because they see the brown wax at the tip of the cone where it was inserted into the ear. Well that brown wax is nothing more than the melted remains of the wax that’s used to hold the cone together, and to help the cone burn down slowly and with control. As the cone burns from the top, the melted wax gathers at the tip. Yes, I’m one of the many who believed the hype, so I was also fooled, but only once. Rhys, you look especially handsome in this video. Thank you for debunking this bunk!
Thanks for the short video Rhys. Like these you do. Thanks for talking about putting candle in an ear. Always wondered about that and now I know. Thanks Rhys. Iowa here.
Not a medical professional, but I've heard that if they're uncomfortable it might be due to the design. Some people hate how much the aids weighed and got newer ones that were lighter and less bulky.
I've burned an ear candle by itself, getting white powdery ash. My oldest son has always produced more cerumen than the rest of the family and after candling, his candle contains twice as much gunk. But the true test is, he hears better. This isn't an opinion, so there's no need to argue.
Yeah, hot wax dripped in my ear once when I did it. That was the last time!

I think you should do something about warning people against unaccredited ear wax removal practice

It will come out naturally, but some medical grade olive oil can help :)

I have had ear candling and never any problems with it. However, I realize it is not a recognized procedure in many countries.
I’ve tried in the boardroom for a colleague. What a shitshow that was 😂 No effect whatsoever.
We love using them! Very successful in our home!!
They don't work but, hey, if you enjoy lighting fires near your ears, have at it. 🔥👂
@@RobbyRaccoonright! He just explained how they don't work at all, and there's still those that swear by them.
Nope it doesn't work
