@@rosstinfouladi7444this. This is a slam tier list meaning the early game value will mean just as much as late game cap. S tier and A tier are items that are the most common BiS on the meta late game capped boards that also can provide a lot of early game/midgame value.
Damage steroids in general seem really weak this patch (both GS and GB). I think it's cause this meta favors tanking items to stabilize and utility/burn/shred items over straight damage items.
Im a bit late to the party and we had a lot of patches but most of what i want to say still applies back then. Im not fine with the QSS spot at all. It is a 100 or 0 item. If you play ww carry with the no cast artifact you NEED QSS or you will lose to 1 star zilean. Also good item to slam on kassa->heca->camille. Or lillia/poppy(carry augment)->fiora. If you ever faced early 3 star tristana reroll into 6 fairy kalista carry, putting tris in 2 Frontline with tank/mana items later you will cry if you try to play any melee units without qss.
QSS also seems to be a fine item on Olaf (Which feels wrong), so when combined with Fiora that's two 4 costs that don't mind having it on top of Kass and Mord. So it has the potential to be a B-tier slam once Olaf is actually playable.
@@Juan-be6ho Thanks for bringing this comment to my attention again. I had meant to look at the numbers on Olaf again after he got his buffs but I totally forgot. Anyway, I was right. QSS is a good item on Olaf. It's currently his 8th best item in the stats. Again, not an item you want to prioritize by any means, but still very solid as a 3rd item build or just a pick-up from carousel. You can argue it shouldn't be good on him- I'd agree, conceptually it feels very wrong but the numbers are the numbers man. For reference, BT is core and you should look for it every game. HoG can substitute in a pinch. As a second item, you want to look at Steraks or Edge of Night. Titans is also solid if you have double healing items/healing augment. In general, though, don't sweat the items on him too much since he'll rarely be your primary carry. It's just healing + melee carry items. Since QSS is a melee carry item, it makes sense that it looks good on him. As for when you should play Oalf, you play him as a secondary carry in Wukong/Jinx Perservers. He can also be your Primary carry in Frost Varus depending on who you hit first and how the items work out. There are also fast 9 lines that use him as an alternative to Fiora if they hit him early. Either way, his position in the meta is still a little niche but it's much better now than it was two weeks ago.
A generally good list, but QSS isn't C tier imo. QSS is a great way to eat up a glove early game. Especially since D Claw value isn't strong early - most damage is through auto attacks, even from Syndra. The meta is currently littered with CC, and often played units like Zilean and Elise abuse stuns. QSS also gives attack speed without using a bow, which is a massive deal in the AS meta. Imo it's an A tier slam as it helps deal with the early game Elise, Galio, and Zileans while helping late game against Nami, Camille, etc. I'm starting to run it on Olaf, Fiora, Mord, and Kassadin as the CC in this set is starting to get obnoxious, and any CC on these champs can cost the round.
I disagree. Dclaw's strength isnt really in the MR as much as it is in the healing which is equivalent to an Artifact like Anima Visage. If you have 2* unit like Blitzcrank it is easily one of the most impactful early game items. QSS is the 2nd if not 1st in lowest tempo items. I would almost never put QSS in the backline, 58% AS after 14 seconds is not a lot at all in comparison to AS builds in this meta. Olaf is terrible atm and I don't really count making an item for a 2/1 cost reroll comp as a slam. The cc in this set is very easy to dodge as they all target the same thing practically; biggest clump.
Ever since the 4 cost 5 cost hp buff last set and GS threshold was nerf it's been shit. No reason to slam it because it does nothing in the early game ( even against 2 star 3 cost ) and it makes me sad because it was supposed to be hyper late game item, and late game it's not even thag great
You skipped HoJ and Titans. I was interested in why is HoJ so much lower than BT and how good is it as a fallback healing item in cases when you don't have a BT or gunblade.
I mention Titan's near the end. HoJ is just BT but worse in every way unless crit is needed. This set there are no such traits or units like Executioner Samira from set 10 or Reaper Kayn from last set. It's less tanky, gives less stats, uses a tear and has a random effect that servers no purpose other than to lower it's viability.
No. At 20 Armor its 5% more damage, at 100 armor its 17% more damage. Sunder sucks ass until late game when you have 3 item tanks walling your backline
@@fyregrass5348 Yeah it's much closer to ~5-7% more damage but it's damage for your entire team which actually does make it very good early game and not just late game.
I dont even think Kog requires IE. 'Require' usually means the unit is significantly better with said item. Varus would be an example as it's hard to increase his dps without speccing into crit much like Trickshot Kaisa from last set. Kog has multiple builds that do well in the data the dont include IE and I would never greed for IE on him. I would say Ezreal is a unit who would require IE as he is very cast dependent and Blasters already give him %amp damage. Someone else mentioned Twitch and Nilah which I agree with. Trist and Nomsy too, to an extent. Ashe is okay with it because her secondary attacks actually can't crit without it which isn't something that is obvious unless you're really looking at your fights.
Why Bramble Vest is this high in tierlist ? I understand that he's trying to say that this item needs to be reconsidered before slamming it, but at this point, you should already assume that there will always be at least 2, 3 Syndra players and 1 or 2 random players using Syndra 2 as an item holder to rush level 8 or 9, right ? (top 2000 player lobby in my region btw, I'm currenly in Dia II) I always try not to build that item unless it's late Stage 4, where for some reason, there are fewer AP comps than I expected. Am I missing something? Is Bramble Vest's damage in the early game just that good?
Because it is BIS in Ad/IE heavy lobbies, and it kills 2 chains which are the worst components in the game rn. Sure it’s easy kill 1 but killing 2 is near impossible especially in ap
I'm not sure about the point of it's BIS against AD-heavy lobbies since those lobbies rarely happen in this meta anyway, but yeah, the point about trying to use up 2 Chain components in AP comp is fair enough, I can see that. If there are too many AP comps in the late game, I could try to find a Reforger charm later.
@@MinhNguyen-kh5zi Yeah basically its "I have 2 chains" what am i going to save them for? Nothing, so I just slam a Bramble on stage 2 where it will have the most value.
I think I explain it pretty well as to why it's B tier in a 'item SLAMMING tier list'. Its not a item face value tier list nor a "if i could pick any items i want for my final board" tier list. I also disagree you should build one in every comp, that's just simply incorrect.
Hard disagree on "you should build in every comp" lmao, that is just not true. I typically only build redemption once I either 1. A, know that I don't need any tears in my comp or B. I've used my tears for my shiv/mana item and I'm able to slam redemption.
Appreciate it :) Warmogs is one of the best items early game and it's not often you are holding out on slamming it to make 2 different belt items instead.
Rod is much too valuable atm to slam like that on 2-1. Preserver Warrior is the only Meta comp that doesnt need a Rageblade not to mention all the other great items rod makes. Saying its a great item on a 5-cost can't be a valid argument to call it a good slam unless it's a core item the unit can't function without: ex. Shojin/Adaptive for Xerath. Crownguard has no such reliance on for units like Morg or Diana.

Even tho shapeshifters are the best tanks in the game, giant slayer is still so bad late. There's just so much damage right now that the amp for fulfilling the condition becomes worthless. Not to mention most carries have aoe or switch target abilities so focusing down the main tank isn't that important anymore. And the metahas shifted heavity around casting or stacking fast aa. Most AP have bonus for casting more like Syndra, Karma, Nami, Zoe, ..etc.., crit and mana regen is a must so last slot just works better with nashor for more cast. As for Adc, most of them are caster now, like Nomsy, Ezreal, Varus, Kogmaw. While aa based one just scale better with attack speed like Kalista, Smolder. They need to change this real fast cuz most of the comp plays the same now. Melee carries are much weaker than their ranged counter part and everycarries are just caster with dif flavor.
