Beautiful, to me it looks like a satellite view of a storm approaching a beach.
Thank you! 😀 It does look like a storm brewing!
I love this one, including the whitish area in the center. This design is a winner. It reminds me of a stormy sea and beautiful sky.
Thank you so much! 😀 I agree, it does look like a stormy sea and clear sky.
Love the colors, including the white in the middle! But the sinew lines really make it pop. Sinew just went on my supplies wish list! The design looks to me like a rift in space. So cool!
Thank you so much! 😊 I love your rift in space description.
I think this is a winner! Embrace the white areas. It accentuates the other areas!
Hi! I'm your fan! And you answer me before some questions, I live in Sonora México, can you please tell me the name of the strip you use to tie the shirts? And Where can I get It?
Thank you! 😀 I tied it using an artificial sinew. I purchase mine from Amazon. Here is a link to the one I use: amzn.to/2EF28Lu
Thank you! I think the white really works on this one too. 😀
I don’t have a name for it, but I LOVE the style! Glad ro hear you’re thinking about trying it with different colors! ❤
Thank you! I really like this design too.😀
It's a perfect storm! Gorgeous. ❤ white squall could be a good name for it or just perfect storm💨
Thank you, I love both of those names! 😀
Love this one! Both colors are beautiful. I like the white area between them.
Thank you! 😊
Boy! I live this! Can’t wait to make one for my hubby!
Thank you so much! 😀
I love this one! The multi lines work much better in my opinion!! Great video Angie!
Thank you so much! 😀
LOVE IT!! Thanks for reminding me of these colors! So beautiful!!!
Thank you! 😀
Love the shirt really love the right hand side photo. It looks like some kind of a skull with the top of it coming off.😁✌️
Thank you! 😀 I never noticed that, but it does!
I like it!!! I might even try 3 lines!!
---------
It is trial and error. When I ice dye, I add ice two more times after the first batch of ice has melted (so 3 batches of ice total). Then I let the shirt sit for 12-24 hours without any ice. This method consistently gives me deep, vibrant colors. But I know some people who only let the ice melt once and then rinse immediately after; their shirts come out nice as well.
Thank you so much! 😀 That would be fun to try!
Each shirt is a little different. I keep adding ice to the shirt until the color has reached all the way to the edge of the fabric. If you run out of undissolved dye on the top of the shirt before that happens, you may need to add a bit more dye along with ice. Sometimes it only takes 1 layer of ice, and other times it takes many more.
Once the ice has melted and the dye is to the edges of the shirt, I allow the dye to process in the fabric for about 24 hours before I rinse it. You don't want the fabric to dry out though or the dye will quit reacting and bonding with the fabric. Therefore, if it is really hot where you live, you may need to put the shirt inside of a container or cover it to keep the fabric damp until the shirt has had long enough to bond properly with the dye.
Love the design!
Thank you! 😊
This is beautiful, it reminds me of the parting of the Red Sea 🌊
Thank you! It does kind of look like the Red Sea parting. 😀
Looks great
Thank you so much! 😊
Super Awesome 😊
Thank you so much! 😀
If done in the right colors this technique could make a Halloween "Frankenstein" shirt 8)
(purple, green, and gray)
You are right! I'll have to add that one to my list. 😀
How awesome! How did to get the wavy lines to look beaded like that? I thought they might be just solid white lines. Thanks for another cool shirt and wonderful video.
Thank you! I love that effect too, but it wasn't intentional. Just a little fun tie dye magic.😀
I like it but that's a lot of white space, a little color would have been nice.
I'd call it the zipperr.
Thank you, and I love the name Zipper! 😀

Oooh...I like that description! 😀
Please comment on dry powder dye versus liquid dye. Thanks
Powder dye is for when you are dying with ice. When you use liquid dye (most tie dye kits) you are adding water to powder and then dying the fabric. Each way give different results
When I add water to the dye powder and use it as a liquid, the color is a solid color. For example, on this shirt the blue would've been a darker blue without the bleeds of purple. The same thing with the Stormageddon, it would've been a solid color without the yellows, greys, greens, blues, and etc...showing up from the dye. There may be color intensity differences on the shirt, but for the most part the color will be a single solid color.
Since most dye powder colors are mixtures, when the dye powder is used in powder form along with ice; the dye will often split into the component colors used to mix it. Therefore, I will end up with other dye colors on my shirts that I wouldn't see if the dye was mixed with water and blended well. In this case, the purple is a split out of the blue dye. The Stormageddon has a lot of other colors that have split from it, like green, grey, blue, and several more. Ice dyeing can be a little more unpredictable since the dye powder can split a little differently each time you use it.
