Thanks mate, that spot there keeps getting trashed, I would have taken at least 10 bags out in the last 6 months and Owen has cut up and taken home a fair few broken and burnt gazebos and chairs. I don’t understand 🤷♂️. The fireplace was a disaster, we couldn’t use it ! But anyway it was a great weekend and thanks again for watching 👍👍
0:34 Dingo Piss Creek Campground, you been watching too much Cadogan? lol. We need to organise a trip around Newnes with you guy and Ryan "Vkings" soon. Cheers Steve
Nice to see some different camp cooking methods and a variety of recipes happening at camp. I’ll have to start calling you Chef Shad!! :-). Good stuff mate!
@@shaddonaghue Yes I understand that completely. A large part of the camping is sharing a meal with friends, and all the better when it is a nice warm hearty & tasty meal in the natural environment. It doesn't need to be Chef quality, but there is a skill to cooking in our natural environment.
Loved the video. Usually newnes township and bungleboori is packed on any long weekend. Learnt our lesson one October long weekend pre COVID. I loved that it was quiet and not packed. I would love to camp where you did. I’m assuming it’s near deep pass or Waratah ridge?
The firepit is a snowpeak one , there are a few copies now , I actually really like it. I take it every where now. The firewood sling is from drifta and thats good as well. That’s where i bought the firepit from too.
Nice spot and like the ozpig cooking 👌👌👌
Thanks mate, yeah it seems good to cook on 🤠👍👍

Thanks for watching mate, there are heaps of cliff spots out there, the easiest and probably best one is at the end of sunnyside fire trail.
