Stock they are 7 inches wider than the f150 and then the fenders he put on give it an extra 4 on each side. So it's close .. definitely not 6 inches wider but pretty damn close.
G8GTJav the owner said I hadn't done any harm to the engine, but he found a little but of water in the intake. I was very lucky to have not done any harm to the vehicle, but he told me that just like Timex watches, that engine will take a licking and keep on ticking. The engine didn't have a code to recognize water in the intake, so it showed low oil pressure.
@@carlitosaleman4199 What's funny is I didn't even know anything about this truck until today. I was originally going to buy a new raptor R but with the 50k+ mark ups, there's no way I was gonna pay MSRP.... especially over MSRP. The sad part is it was definitely neglected. It needs a lot of work so I left it at my buddy's shop in San Mateo. It's gonna cost $10k to get it back in good condition. Otherwise, it's a damn sweet truck.
@@RubberChickenMan007hat was wrong with it? And I love the Gen 3 R, but I own a stripped and whipped 1st gen too (and a 21' Platty 350) I personally think the 6.2 sounds better than the 5.2. You should upload vids sometime brother, and congrats on the buy!
Mainah I mean, that’s kind of the point, right? I wouldn’t really be able to just get in a huge truck like this and park perfectly on my first try. I would love to have more experience with lifted and widened trucks like this.
no doubt they're easy when stock. i recently drove a 2021 Raptor and it was easy. but this one just had some significant changes to the suspension geometry that made operating it a bit tougher in densely populated areas
Uh oh LOW OIL PRESSURE NO CRANK NO START =Time to GO SPEND ANOTHER $10k on A NEW MOTOR . IM NO HATER ! I OWN A 2014 801A sPECIAL EDITION RAPTOR.. 28 k miles ! Stage 2 whipple ! 1000 miles after install I get the LOW OIL PRESSURE ON GAUGES THEN TRUCK DIES THEN HEAR WHAT SOUNDS LIKE BALL BEARINGS IN A BLENDOR .. RIP
A very mixed review, I can't really say nothing positive about the young man. In order to educate, what I presume you are aiming to achieve, you are missing a crucial point: EXPERIENCE of ownership. I've owned my supercharged Raptor for 4 years now, I live and work in NYC, I have no issues with parking, A Raptor is not a vehicle for anybody, it is a Ferrari of trucks. Expensive?... Not really when compared to same high end trucks on market. Loud?....Only if desired, otherwise a Camry could get louder. Reliable and fun?...Growing up with Benz and BMW, I was swept by the Raptor. Cheers all!!!
Reviewing an owned vehicle insures bias, not accuracy. Also, if you had driven this specific Raptor with the SVC parts installed, parking WOULD be an issue. I have had plenty of experience driving trucks since this review (including F-150s) and I have never experienced difficulty in parking quite like it. This specific truck had a total investment of about $120k, so it's quite a bit more expensive than the trucks I've seen. I definitely agree that the loudness depends on preferences, but I was reviewing this truck, not the Raptor in general. Thanks for the feedback
I guess compared to cars the turning radius is bad but compared to other trucks it's phenomenal in my 14 raptor.
Raptor drive shaft is first to go, replace with JDM shaft
One of your best videos yet; Keep up the good work!
+Connor Osborne Thanks my man, I really appreciate it!
great review
Thanks!
I have a ford raptor and it's not bad in traffic
This specific raptor had such extensive suspension mods that it was hard to turn and maneuver, but Raptors with light mods are totally fine
Wider than an f250 dually huh?

My 14 raptor is wide but it's about 6" narrower than my E-350 dually is.
I wish gas still cost that much lol... literally over double that now.
Stalled due to low oil pressure or seized up due to low oil pressure? Did you hurt the motor? Got to keep an eye on those gauges.

TheCarEnthusiast Interesting.

Getting better now... I like the less edm all the time haha
Thanks! I'm trying to make my videos more efficient with time and content while making them more interesting. I appreciate it!
What engine is in the truck rookie
Theodoros Junggren It’s the 6.2L. If you want to see a better video, check out my latest review.
If he can't pull into a parking spot without the camera, he needs to learn to drive a full size truck.

you remind me of Doug Demuro.
Raptors are easy to drive I have one 😂

I want to supercharge mine so bad omg she sound good
use a drone to get turning radius
I definitely should have done that
You have no idea how to drive that truck. You’re applying too much power on that type of terrain. It’s a desert truck...
That is true, it was definitely my first time experiencing a truck like this.
Ford blames whipple whipple blames ford ford blames tuner.. GTFOUH
Lol
