- Reviewing the A.Lange Söhne Lange 1 Time Zone model in 18 carat rose gold reference 116.032. First introduced in 2005 this model is a perfect dress-style watch for a globetrotter. The movement decoration and finish of A. Lange & Söhne watches is on par if not better than some of the "Holy trinity" swiss timepieces it competes with.

I came so close in purchasing this exact model 2 years back but I didnt, why? Becos i set this as my holy grail that once i gotten this my collection is completed... meaning I will stop purchasing timepieces. Firstly I'm still saving up for it & secondly I'm still enjoying the excitement & joy in purchasing different timepieces. It is a mouth drooling model with a super high craftsmanship that frankly if u see it in person, u will be deeply poisoned with it. I totally agreed with u fully Lange attention to details personally I think is better than AP, PP & VC... oh pls dont get me wrong as I'm not saying the holy trinity is not as good but just than Lange is just that slightly better... to think of it there is no manufacture will assemble the same timepiece TWICE. Great detail video SWG! The video quality is awesome!!! Fan from Singapore.

Definitely , I believe A Lange is way way above Patek Philippe (movement finishing, case finishing, decoration, design, complications) everything is just way above Patek Philippe

Amazing watch, in my opinion, A. Lange & Söhne make the best dress watches, and the Datograph is the best chronograph ever made.
My favorite ALS has to be the Zeitwerk Date, amazing watch and very unique complication.

Great review Marko... A Lange & Sohne are amazing watches. The Germans know a thing about watch making (glashutte orginal which shares the same car park as ALS and Nomos) you should do a review on my favourite ALS, the datograph. The calibre is amazing through the sapphire back. Probably the best looking calibre out there.

I do agree Lange is better than Patek. But personally I would go for other independents if I want to spend such money for a dress watch.

Yes, Lange is better than Patek in every way. Patek is just overhyped shit.
It is really about preference, at the moment I identify more with Lange watches.
Yes more colorful but no way better. I'l choose a 5110 of a 5130 over this any time of the day. Have you seen the Cal.240? Also this watches are not adjusted to isocronism so they're prone to temperature deviation. How do I know this I owned four and sold them all. But yes they're colorful but also thick and uncomfortable for daily use. Thank you for the video!
Thank you for watching! It's about preference I think, I personally can relate more to Lange watches although I appreciate Patek as well, have photographed many many models before and I love them, just personally I prefer lange more.
Doesn’t this have a seconds reset when you pull out the crown?
The new 2020 model does have hacking seconds, but I don't think either have the "zero-reset" function other than the tourbillon. But I might be wrong.
