    I watch your channel for your personality and creative thinking, the projects are just a bonus. You should post the failures too, there is a lot to learn from that! Even building a shed would be good content. You be you, that's what we are here for!

    Glad to see you again. Lower the bar, make the things that make you happy. I'm here for your humor, personality, and to watch you cobble shit together in ways I never would have thought of.

    Take this however you like, but the complexity of what you build is a tiny part of what makes your videos so entertaining. Overhaul a lawnmower, build a shed.. we'll all watch, laugh, and even learn a bit. Thanks!

    The content you enjoy making is the content we enjoy watching, in the end it's not entirely all about the projects but also about you bringing them to life. Keep it up man, seeing the notification of your new video cheered me up and you never disappoint. Regarding suggestions for your videos: you already have access to high power lasers, how about a metal powder 3d printer? Maybe using recycled milling shavings or something not as expensive and fancy as specific powder

  • @bob12197
    @bob12197 Год назад +8

    The fact that you have projects fail/break on you all the time, but you don't let that break you. I admire how you can pick yourself back up so easy and get back to work wish I had half the focus you have. Trust me I also understand after doing large projects it feels like you burn yourself out a bit and it takes a bit of recovering to get back into the mood set.

    I would love to see something weird and big made from “poor man’s fiberglass” which is just cotton fabric over cardboard using wood glue. Once painted it can look just like fiberglass. I’ve seen some cool enclosures, I’d love to see a dinosaur with animatronic jaw, or a giant musical fish

    I agree that youtube is becoming a very competitive site lately. Watching channels just make stuff and complete a failed project all the time makes me feel useless when I don't complete mine and then leads me to think that I want to give up. Boy do I understand where you're coming from. My Jacquard Loom video was my first video, and for years each of my subsequent videos under preformed that video. lol. I do think video performance is unpredictable at best. So trying to pick a project in order to drive views might help some, but isn't a guarantee of great performance, and makes it harder for you personally. I think just build whatever you're excited to build and and let the chips fall where they may. You're clearly exited to build both complex and simple projects. If you're exited about the build then folks will want to watch/share your excitement success or failure/simple or complicated. I think long term it's more about personality and storytelling than it is about build complexity. Sure I was impressed at how far you went with the Tig 3D printer. A build I'd think twice before taking on, but I also have enjoyed watching you cobble together diffusion pumps and seeing what worked and what didn't. I enjoy hearing you grouse about the issues as you move though the projects, seeing what worked and what didn't. To me that's the best part. I'm always happy to see when you have a new video out.
