Doubt you could do the fish and chips on the beach for ten bucks type thing anymore. Like they ran out of room in Nimbin and Mullumbimby and people have started living in Byron. Or people want to be hippies without having to live in Mullumbimby and Nimbin. Plus now celebrities live there so everyone else wants to.

They're working on a bypass, perhaps if that's done the daily peak traffic jams might have eased off, but god, the tiny cafes absolutely packed with trendy yuppie types and influencers were a horror show. I dunno why they're talking about 'vibes', the gentrification of Byron totally destroyed its once chill, dilapidated, laid-back beach shanty town vibe, absolutely a completely different place.
