He made a tour of all the important places in the minors at the time: Springfield/Cleveland/Buffalo/Baltimore/Dallas and others. The 1948 Cleveland Barons were a great team, that was tough running into them.

Since there was no video of the Habs in 1936 I would say 'yes' if that fills the story for you...The years before Maurice arrived was a dead zone for the franchise...
