Post2Post i love your intro so much!
Post2Post 13:13 you forgot how the Penguins dropped it into their pool once.
+The Redstone Sword-Minecraft this was recorded before that happened this week.
Brent for president
There really isn't any other trophy like this! Most awards are mass produced and only exist to stay with a team forever, while this one has been through so many different experiences around the world!
I love the fact that the cup seen it ALL and its still is! What a History! :)
I love this "History of..." series. Do more 💜
The Pens equipment manager let me hold the cup to take a picture a few days ago, and you can never truly appreciate its beauty and history until you've been that close to it. Definitely a moment I'll remember for the rest of my life
Very informative video on the History of the Stanley Cup! We have been researching this topic for 3 years now, interviewing the Cup Keepers and other NHL Hall of Famers and your video was the most comprehensive video we have see up to this point! Great work!
Wow thank you!!!
Such a beautiful Trophy in Hockey History

I want Brent to narrate my life, dude is so awesome.
Great video Post2Post and great narration by Brent, looking forward to the next one.
Wow. This was great! I’m really surprised it doesn’t have more views. Thanks for the educational catch-up of the Cup and some hockey history.
Man the cup has come a long way
so relaxing just listening to brents voice
Even as a Bruins fan, I can't help but feel happy for the Blues. They reached the finals 3 years in a row, and lost all games from those finals. Even I, a Bruins fan, felt happiness for the Blues when they beat us in 2019.
Randy West Love ❤ The Stanley Cup History Since 1898 and Randy West Seen in the year of 2019 The Stanley Cup at Hockey Hall of Fame EST. 1946 in Toronto, Ontario Canada 🇨🇦.
Nice video guys! I enjoy these education videos and i was going to recomend doing these videos on franchises and then saw your comment XD
Sounds like a Ken Burns documentary
These videos are very interesting! Your dad does a great job narrating.
What about in 99 when Guy Carbenou of Dallas took the cup to a member of Pantera house and it was launched off a balacany into a pool but it missed n bounced first causing a big dent in it that had to be repaired.
A very excellent documentary I learned some new things
Love your videos! Keep it up
Brilliant Video!
These videos are always great! I'd like to see a video like this but the history of the wha
You left out the 90s Penguins broke the cup in a Mario Lemieux's swimming pool
I've kissed the original cup when the Kings brought it to my work.

This history is pretty neat I never knew any of this
Thank you. Very interesting.
My parents got to see the Stanley Cup, but I never have. And I’m a bigger fan than they are
The stanly cup is the best thing
Fr
great video guys.
How ironic! I have been looking up the history of the cup the past few days then my favorite hockey channel (You guys!) post a video on it!
Perfect! =D
This is a quality video
2019 Stanley Cup Champions St. Louis Blues. 2020 Champions hopefully as well.
Shame the cup couldn't be awarded to the amateur team! Great video as always guys!
Clearly, you did a tremendous amount of research and this is a fantastic video. To be a bit nitpicky though, the show trophy that stays in the Hall of Fame is not a "replica", it's authenticated by the NHL. There are simply 3 versions of the Cup, with 2 modern versions. In fact, the show trophy has been presented on the ice to the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings. The XXXX's over Basil Pocklington's name are not the only differences between the presentation trophy and the show trophy. There are many misspellings on the presentation trophy (i.e. the Islanders spelled "IIanders" in 1981 and Jacques Plante's name is spelled 4 different ways).
Sorry to be so nitpicky but I work at the Hall of Fame in Toronto and I often answer questions regarding these topics.
Thanks for sharing this.
I live near Toronto, Ohio when then pens won the cup back in the early 90s Toronto had a equipment manager or a training coach. He had a day with lLord Stanley. I know of a few people that actually drank beer from the cup in Little toronto Ohio and a little bar. They have pictures and everything. Just a dirty river town on the Ohio river abou 4000 people
Really well presented. Looking forward to more videos!

Well done!
Neil I want your dad to narrate a documentary of my life when I die
I'm sure he's for hire!
So when they don't remove the base rings, it'll be as tall as Chara?
brent is boss
Hockey's Canada's sport, that's right
Aria Fitzgerald Yeah! #CanadaForLife
Wow if the cup could talk it could write a hellva book
I have a good idea y'all should make a video on the 1980 maricle on ice video and a Herb Brooks video please?
The Stanley Cup is the best Trophy in the World . The Cup is older than the Commissioner trophy, Vincent Larbardi , the Grey Cup and Walter O’Brien
Dang, one of the most recognizable trophies in sports is owned by a league that is awfully lenient with how the winning players celebrate

Another great video by the well-spoken Brent!
wait what! I just now realized that this is Brent! I love this
Also, if an American team wins the Cup, it visits the White House
Is the original little cup on top the 100 year old one or no
If there was a trophy that’s on par with the Stanley cup, it’s the World Cup??
Why did Pocklington want his father engraved on it? So the league or trustees doesn't approve the engravings beforehand?
All the shit they did to the cup sounds like shit me and my buddies would do I in high school 😂
I didn't see the displayed bands at the HOF.. shit I missed out hard.
+OneTimer we just saw them today!
Where were they? In the vault? I only saw the original cup and the display cup that you can take pictures with. I would of loved to read the names
Yup in the fault to the left
I gotta go back. I went to the forum today. Saw Roy's game used pads for sale. It's right next to my school so i'll be hanging there in between classes.
The Stanley Cup is way better than the Vincent Larbardi Trophy
Do a video ranking the AJHL team logos
I wanted to know if you had a way for me to send something to you. I was at the Pens Victory Parade today and was wondering if I could send you the video for your enjoyment. Thanks
+Aidan Doyle that would be awesome! I'd say upload the video to RUclips and send me the link at post2postshow@gmail.com
1:05 Canada’s official name is still the dominion of Canada.
Is the one at the centennial fan arena real?
in the intro what is in the guys hand when he is fist pumping?.
I think it's his helmet!
WHY DID YOU BURN THE MORTGAGE?!?
Burning a mortgage is a traditional way of celebrating that all the payments are done. The mortgage represents the debt, and when there is no more debt then the mortgage is lit up.
Wayne Gretzky won 4 Stanley Cups and not tied with the Maple Leafs player?
Rank Ahl arenas and NHL goalie pads
My aunt got her name on the cup idk how in the hell she did but it did happen
hey
Hey
What's the weirdest thing to happen to the Cup after the blues won it? Oh wait...
Ahem HEM.
Guentzel isn't gonna be on the cup
Why
Who here in 2024
