There really isn't any other trophy like this! Most awards are mass produced and only exist to stay with a team forever, while this one has been through so many different experiences around the world!

Very informative video on the History of the Stanley Cup! We have been researching this topic for 3 years now, interviewing the Cup Keepers and other NHL Hall of Famers and your video was the most comprehensive video we have see up to this point! Great work!

The Pens equipment manager let me hold the cup to take a picture a few days ago, and you can never truly appreciate its beauty and history until you've been that close to it. Definitely a moment I'll remember for the rest of my life

Even as a Bruins fan, I can't help but feel happy for the Blues. They reached the finals 3 years in a row, and lost all games from those finals. Even I, a Bruins fan, felt happiness for the Blues when they beat us in 2019.

Clearly, you did a tremendous amount of research and this is a fantastic video. To be a bit nitpicky though, the show trophy that stays in the Hall of Fame is not a "replica", it's authenticated by the NHL. There are simply 3 versions of the Cup, with 2 modern versions. In fact, the show trophy has been presented on the ice to the Anaheim Ducks and Los Angeles Kings. The XXXX's over Basil Pocklington's name are not the only differences between the presentation trophy and the show trophy. There are many misspellings on the presentation trophy (i.e. the Islanders spelled "IIanders" in 1981 and Jacques Plante's name is spelled 4 different ways).
Sorry to be so nitpicky but I work at the Hall of Fame in Toronto and I often answer questions regarding these topics.

I live near Toronto, Ohio when then pens won the cup back in the early 90s Toronto had a equipment manager or a training coach. He had a day with lLord Stanley. I know of a few people that actually drank beer from the cup in Little toronto Ohio and a little bar. They have pictures and everything. Just a dirty river town on the Ohio river abou 4000 people

Burning a mortgage is a traditional way of celebrating that all the payments are done. The mortgage represents the debt, and when there is no more debt then the mortgage is lit up.
