  • Brock had an ER scare just a few days ago because his stomach was hurting him. He was left with only a few options to get surgery that night or leave and then come back when the pain returns. It was a rough night for him but we are still continuing to figure out how to fix it... we hope for the best!!!

I feel for you Brock! 9 months of excruciating pain from my gallbladder during my pregnancy. Getting my gallbladder out changed my life. Recovery is different for everyone but my experience was amazing and I was discharged 4 hours after my surgery. I was back to feeling like my old self within 4 days. I hope everything goes well!

I had the same thing 2 weeks ago. Took me a little longer to recover due to other unrelated health issues I have, but I feel completely back to normal after 2 weeks. I’m glad I got mine removed. I couldn’t stand the week of pain, I couldn’t imagine 9 months.

The surgery is life changing, very minor and then never have to worry about it again and can live normally without worrying. Otherwise it will just keep flaring up. Mined ended up infected, biggest relief ever to get rid of it.

I have had my gall bladder out and appendix. Both of the surgeries were relieving to me. I went from being in a ton of pain to no pain at all. With your WBC being up, it’s important to watch that because it could be a sign of infection.

A quick test on appendix is to lay on back and hit the bottom of your foot. If it hurts in the appendix area bullseye appendicitis. And everyone pretty much knows about vitamins and minerals, magnesium, selenium. Get well soon! Glad you’re getting on top of your overall health needs. Such a great mom

I had my gallbladder out when I was about 12 due to stones. It helped me so much!! The after care is not too bad. I recommend it, if you keep having pains because it helped so much. I was actually healthy and young. I still got them. I had pains for months. So many months because they could not see anything in any scan. So I went through a lot and finally after months they found out what I had. I eventually got my gal bladder removed. It helped me a lot.

I had 8 gallstone attacks over the course of a year, while in grad school. I had lost weight too quickly, I was a young female (so I also didn’t fit the stereotype). I was made to feel like I was crazy and that it was just gas (while at the hospital and the nurse convinced me that I shouldn’t be there). When I finally got my gallbladder out almost a year later (laparoscopic surgery), I was just about healed up within 2 weeks. I don’t digest food well now, but I am not in 9/10-10/10 pain every month because of it. I never wish gallstone pain on ANYONE!
Hoping you are able to heal your gallbladder, Brock!

Honestly, because you’re so healthy and eat healthy, I would definitely go holistic. Surgery is a fast answer, but it has long term changes for the rest of your life. You’re still too young for that and holistically, you’ll do better. You’re making the right choice of what’s best for you now and long term. Best of luck Brock and many, many blessings.

I had to have my gallbladder taken out back in 2010, but not because of stones. I was super nauseous, all the time and couldn’t eat. It caused other health problems as well. When my surgeon removed it, my gallbladder was actually quite diseased.
Several years later, my brother was vomiting uncontrollably and had to have his removed as well, but his surgeon said that this was his most difficult gallbladder case in his entire career. It was so diseased and infected that he had a very difficult time removing it.
Just remember that your gallbladder can cause problems without having stones, so if you have pain and vomiting, I would make sure that you get it checked out.
    Best wishes to you, Brock.🙏🏻

I had gallbladder surgery and it caused so many issues I have leaky gut ibs and holes in my intestines as the gall bladder now sits in my intestines not where it's meant to sit I also can't eat anything much fatty as it causes severe pains
