Huge shout out to LEGOS for teaching us how to assemble stuff by following instructions when we were kids. 🤣😂 Love the video, and thanks for keeping it real. 😎
Wait, I was supposed to stop playing with Legos once I "grew up"??? Hmmm, does that mean that even though I am 59 years old, I haven't grown up yet? LOL
Here in Canada 5/4" boards are traditional deck boards, Available in various widths and woods, If in doubt I would use 2 x6". Might need longer screws but minor issue.
I have built many decks on homes using "5/4 round" planks in Northern Virginia. That was common back there. Now that I am living in Central Oregon, everyone uses 2x boards. I used to get some funny looks when I would say something about using 5/4 round for decking.
5/4" deck boards are pressure treated pine which is very common in the south, but appears Utah only has the composite version like Trex. Treated 2x6 would be close in size.
big upgrade for trailer you can get at walmart is greaseable hub covers they have a grease zerk fitting on them so you can use a grease gun to fill it up which allows you to put alot of grease in them which saves axles and stubs from getting too hot and breaking, they're like $10-$15 and worth every penny
That's all unistrut framing pieces. You could easily modify and build sides or a cage with more unistrut and fittings. I put unistrut on my trailer just so I would have adjustable tie down locations. Great video guys!
I’ve had the 4x8 Harbor Freight trailer for over 10 years. Think I only paid 300$ or 400$ Honestly I’m really impressed with the amount it’s hauled. The abuse it’s taken. But still works for probably its final purpose hauling my 150 gallon fuel tank around the property.
Make the bracket yourself and go to Graingers and get some unistrut spring nuts and do the same thing. Not sure if Home Depot or Lowe’s carries the spring nuts, but I used to use them all the time doing commercial electrical.
You know, guys. If you took the hat off indoors, it might help to let the scalp breathe. Like i seen you getting the turkey hair. Just a thought guy's. Your doing a great job with your site and content 😊.
While instructions aren’t always the most fun route, unless you want quite an adventure I would recommend you explore using instructions on any complex build. Case in point. But hey, this is the misadventure lab.
My grandpa used to say..if you have a little know how, enough tools and know ALOT of cuss words, then there is nothing you can't fix or build. 😂😅 He could fix anything.😊
4/4, 5/4 etc is used by furniture makers. There are some good companies in southern utah. MacBeath hardwood and Intermountain lumber come to mind. Quarter sawn white oak would have been a better choice for the top but it would have added a bunch to the cost.
These are going to be towed 70+mph on our highways, loaded with hundreds of pounds of who knows what and assembled by people who know a LOT less than these guys. Let that sink in...
Before I'd buy something like this, I'd search the internet for people putting one together.... Then probably not buy it. Lol... Y'all made for good entertainment, though! Trevor looked worse for wear as the video progressed! 😁
From $37K to $45K that's the minimum range of profit return every week I thinks it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family.
Look at what Jefe did with his trailer. The tent up top and the hauling and cooking down on the trailer deck. But it has some shortcomings. Do it one better and use it to get out out of town and have your own adventures. Better yet, invite Jefe to bring his trailer and have a camp cookery challenge in some beautiful wild place.
I love this channel but there's not a snowballs chance in hell that I would buy that piece of crap. $1k plus decking for a trailer made of unistrut and bolt together brackets. OMFG you can buy a welded trailer with sides and ready to put on the ball for $1200 from tractor supply. Not knocking you guys, id imagine it was free and either way George's idea but dang. I'd be worried everywhere I went with a bolt together trailer and for the price... In the words of Joey from Blossom. WHOA!
Now that is just wirde for a Dane to see, here in Denmark we just buy it at the store, and hook it on the car, the dealership even put on the plates and register it for us.

I’m glad Harbor Freight knew who to send one out to. Thanks for showing us we need to read the instructions. 😆

@@c.s.allsman9301 OK, truth be told I still use LEGOS!! 😂 It is PREPARING me for the day I have to assemble something from Harbor Freight!!

As for the pallet of fireworks, I call dibs on being the "apprentice" for that one!
Looking at all those parts can be quite intimidating! Great job guys!
Happy new year I always look forward to your offerings. Don’t be to hard on the apprentice it’s always the supervisors fault. LOL.
George is going to need to build a big shop to work in and a building to store all the builds in. Nice looking trailer Trevor.
A pallet of fireworks? Looking forward to that episode!
😂 Great job! It's more fun just watching all of you! Thanks for sharing 👍 😂😊

Thanks again for making a relatable, enjoyable and shareable video.

5/4 is common measurement for rough cut lumber here in New York.
I'll store that Cobra kit for you in SE Idaho so you have room for that trailer. LOL
I would just love to get my hands on that harbour freight Jack (maybe some of the battery power tools too).
At 5:30 ish, was that a reference to the “Wellerman” sea shanty, “When the tonguing is done”? If not, look it up and listen to it. 😊
When the parts look the same and should be the mistakes are expected and understandable. Put the trailer on the lift for storage.

Your. Local electrical supply house more than likely has strut, different styles of brackets, and strut nuts.
I was curious Rudy as to what progress if any has been made on the Cobra replica car. I haven't seen a video on it for a while.
Y'all assembled that thing a whole lot faster than I could 🤣
Lego sets are getting pretty large.
5/4 are just standard deck boards sold at every lumber store in the US.
Now there's a weekend job! 😸 Turned out pretty good. Instructions can really suck sometimes though. Well Done Boys!
What's the capacity rating on this new trailer, have an older 4x8 folding trailer that is only rating for 1000lbs.
If you're not a leader, you're a trailer 👽🗿👽
If Ikea did trailers lol.

Hunters dad could have gotten you 5/4. Coulda woulda shoulda. I know i am sorry I had to watch this. Ugh. Love you guys.
To blow your mind even more 5/4 is actually 1”.
This trailer is not yet available in any store near me in Florida.
Wondering if one needs a fork lift to unload it from the delivery truck?
Light the fireworks off to celebrate the Presidential Inauguration.🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Trevor my man 🤟
Either you guys failed the IKEA academy, OOOOOR Harbor Freight never visited IKEA. :D
These are going to be towed 70+mph on our highways, loaded with hundreds of pounds of who knows what and assembled by people who know a LOT less than these guys. Let that sink in...
At least the less they new about putting it together the faster they will drive 😂
Couldn't you use the 1 1/2" boards without cutting them down?
You get that to talk back
Needs a rail or a fence.
If in doubt read the instructions
in a weekend you could've welded together a proper trailer out of rhs.
I'm hoping for the baking show. Can I be a judge?
Thanks gentlemen
I'll bet Harbor Frieght wish they didn't give you the trailer lol. Good luck, and stay safe.
How much is it ?
Awesome...
Trevor's giving Georges' trailer some tongue action seems a bit much.
But where was is made?
diesel and used oil is a great board sealer. still should use a ground wire to the trailer
Used motor oil is full of lead and nasty stuff. Just use a wood sealer
IDK that I would trust any "Mechanic" that shows up in shorts and flip flops
like number 430 checking in
Hey! Where’s the cobra?
Ok….. new name….. mishap
Garage! 😁
The apprentice ......................
Store it under that fancy electric golf cart of yours??!!
The next one will be a breeze
Deck boards
IKEA
Couldn’t pay me to put that bs together 😂😂😂
Before I'd buy something like this, I'd search the internet for people putting one together.... Then probably not buy it. Lol...

Let's GOOOOO
YAY
LOL. Who thunk that watching two hillbillies putting together a trailer would be entertaining. LOL😊😊😊😊
This was the least worst AD I've watched so far in 2025

Dear Harbor Freight, your trailers suck.
Dear Trevor and Tucker, your videos are cool.
Comment for the Al Gore ithm.
You are a sucker for that trailer ,
